Good food but slow food service...the ambiance I must say is good it's old Spanish style and food looks yummy so we did try it.We had: Paella Valencia- we made sure we tried this since it's one of the most recommended, but the wait is like an hour well I must say it's good though I would prefer it more sticky, for the seafoods it's fresh and not over cooked the flavor is not too much and it blends well with everything!Gambas this one is really rich in flavor a good appetizer even as main corse though serving size is small but every bites tastes oily and quite spicy! Brewed coffee quite blunt Overall I like the place but I must say they can still improve their speed in serving.

Hi! Just want to share my experience eating here at Rekado's :) My hubby and i ordered 3 diffirent dishes. Baby back ribs, Chicken and Pork adobo flakes and lastly the Carbonara. The serving is almost good for two persons! Paid everything for 850 pesos only! Super worth it. We didn't order drinks and dessert anymore cus our tummy's full already :) Definitely going back for more! The crew and service is very nice too. They even have a live band going to table by table :) They also have a Garden which is only accessible for Party/Events

lunch hunting was hard not only because there were a myriad of options of restos to chooooose from but also because of the slooow and congested traffic flow of people coming down and going up to tagaytay. the road to eating took us far down off tagaytay proper to the sta. rosa road where we saw this somewhat hidden yet rustic resto that specializes in a spanish-filipino fare. the prices were reasonable and then we saw this maliputo in the menu. maliputo is a fish found only in the taal lake, better than talakitok i was told and can be bought up to as much as 1000 per kilo (woah, right?!). the waiter suggested that the fish they have on hand can be cooked ala sinigang sa sampalok and char-grilled. the sinigang one was the BEST! not only was the fish meat soft but the taste of it was amazing and the vegs were fresh! the service was at par and so was the place. one aircon unit's fan could not be fixed to a steady flap and the table that we transferred to seemed to nest a family of red ants in it's cracks. nevertheless, me and fajah enjoyed it very much + we had a trio (band) that sang for us and fajah's bday song.

For starter, I ordered mushroom soup, the ever loyal and faithful appetizer. Honestly, I don't eat mushrooms too much but my instinct told me to try this out, so I did. And yeah, I knew it. My instinct never fail me. All I know is I caught myself enjoying and finishing my soup.Next is Paella Valenciana. I'm allergic to seafood, but who cares? I bet, no one can resist this one and I will regret this the whole night if I did not try this out.Next is Barbecue Chicken Pizza and Pizza Margarita. So when I saw these two beauties, my heart is melting. They were both good. But my personal favorite was the Barbecue Chicken Pizza. I love the smoky flavor and the crispiness of the crust. If there is a dish that would make me come back for more, it would be the Grilled Salmon. I don't know if I'm being bias because salmon is my favorite but one thing is for sure, their salmon is for the win.
