We ordered the classic maxs favorite. kare kare. i find it too liquidy rathen than thick, lacks the peanut flavor. chicken and pancit canton is still good, ube decadence is still great! the service is okayand the place is accesible. its frustraing seeing the wrapped left over just dumped in one plastic bag (shanghai, achara, chicken)

Got hungry from hours of walking and looking for things to buy. We craved for something filipino so we decided to eat at max's. Bangus ala pobre was big enough for 3 pax. Chicken was a bit overcooked and dry. We were too hungry to complain about it.

I tried their Kare Kare meal, it could actually be a bigger serving. But best of all, I’ve always loved their Spring Chicken because I’m not fond of Banana Ketchup and Spring Chicken is the most moist. Their caramel bars are great for snacks and for dessert, Ube Decadence, always. The only (not pure) purple yam based dessert I love.

I think every Filipino has tried Max’s fried chicken and it never disappoints. I am writing this review specifically for Max’s Ube Creme Decadence (see picture). its really good. i could eat it everyday. its so creamy but not too sweet. its also cheap at only PhP83

This Valentine’s you can go beyond the usual flowers and chocolates, you can also share with your loved ones a fitting decorated cake. Max’s Corner Bakery worked for us this year by creating a Valentine limited edition cakes- Choco Toffee Torte and Message Cake! These two heart-shaped treats are available in most of Max’s stores as well. The Choco Toffee Torte (Php 520) has layers of chocolate chiffon cake filled and frosted with choco-toffee buttercream, chocolate fudge, and cashew nuts. It’s definitely a new kind of chocolate experience. The Message Cake, on the other hand, highlights more the value of a personal message. You can mention your own short messages. This one is a cool deal for just Php 466.
