We ordered the classic maxs favorite. kare kare. i find it too liquidy rathen than thick, lacks the peanut flavor. chicken and pancit canton is still good, ube decadence is still great! the service is okayand the place is accesible. its frustraing seeing the wrapped left over just dumped in one plastic bag (shanghai, achara, chicken)

Got hungry from hours of walking and looking for things to buy. We craved for something filipino so we decided to eat at max's. Bangus ala pobre was big enough for 3 pax. Chicken was a bit overcooked and dry. We were too hungry to complain about it.

I tried their Kare Kare meal, it could actually be a bigger serving. But best of all, I’ve always loved their Spring Chicken because I’m not fond of Banana Ketchup and Spring Chicken is the most moist. Their caramel bars are great for snacks and for dessert, Ube Decadence, always. The only (not pure) purple yam based dessert I love.
