The pork pieces added the right amount of fat and meat taste to the dish. It was the first dish that we finished.The grilled tilapia was ok. The fish meat was not as flaky as we would have preferred it but the taste was good.The Binakol na Manok (chicken soup with lemongrass and coconut meat) was delightful. It tasted like tinolang manok but with coconut meat. Tinolang manok is a Filipino chicken soup dish that has a strong ginger flavor and in the binakol, the sweet coconut meat was a perfect complement to the aromatic chicken soup.The puto bumbong (purple rice cake) tasted good. Puto bumbong is made from steamed glutinous rice then topped with margarine, shredded coconut and muscovado sugar. Belum Terai Belum Tau

It's hard for me to find a restaurant with good Filipino food because our household cooks reaaaally good food. I like their take on local cuisines. It's simple and taste is on point. We had our small civil wedding reception here and their food offerings did not disappoint. I specially love their tinumis and puto bumbong.
