As a regular employee, I would say that the meals at Mexicali are quite pricey. It's not the typical meal price that will be suitable for a daily lunch out. It would cost you roughly 200 for a simple tacos set. They've offered 99 pesos rice meals but serving size was quite small. Only people with small appetite will be satisfied with their budget meals. I've tried their rice meals (arroz a la cubana and chicken) and burritos. Both were just okay.

You know there's really nothing to expect when you order a small meal. But when I ordered their Crispy Pork, I was really disappointed. Their Chicken is pretty decent though. I liked it. But I wouldn't recommend the Crispy Pork because first of all, it's not even crispy and second, it's all fat. The only thing that made me happy was the fries because it's so good with their garlic and chili sauces. The staff are ok though. But the service was slow. Tried their 99 meal, it was ok.

Order a meal set instead of ala carte cause it's much worth it. Though I honestly say that I don't like their Burrito here. But the Garlic Quesadilla is worth coming back. Staff were also friendly. For dine-in, you can just order in your seat. While for take-out, you need to fall in line.

Mexicali is a casual restaurant serving Mexican cuisine. Aside from burritos, tacos, quesadillas, salads and soups, they also offer meals that come with rice. I have tried their 99 pesos 2 piece chicken meal but I found the serving size quite small. The chicken was just okay. The tacos and burritos here are also okay. So if you're craving for Mexican cuisine, you can check out this place.

We decided to dine in here with my officemate. So after we ordered it took them almost 40 minutes to bring our food! It was so depressing that you have to wait for that long, the only thing that made me happy is their chicken and fries!
