Cebu has become a website destination with awesome local restaurants and cheap finds. One of the restaurants that seem to be off the social media radar is this Asian restaurant that is known by, surprisingly, expats, as one of Cebu's finest gems. Hello, The Oriental Spice Gourmet. It is easy to miss this restaurant located along Maximo V. Patalinghug Jr. Avenue as it's huge signage simply says TOSG, the initials of the restaurant. But thanks to Waze, we didn't miss our stop.

I had a complete happy supper at Franzon’s BBQ, owned by Ms Jelyn Franzon making use of their edition of Tuslob Buwa (Dip in Bubbles) as well as close friends, Reina and Dine. It's manufactured from pork liver and mind, obtain sautéed with garlic, onions, pepper, soy sauce, andhot chilis and prepare everything in the frying pan with essential oil. The mixture began with a watery share until it changes right into a solid, bubbly stew for some minutes on the fire. After it had been fried, dip it with "pusô" or the neighborhood hanging rice (cooked rice wrapped around coconut results in). It had been my first period to use this popular local road food therefore with Reina as Dine ready it for all of us. It tastes great and boost our urge for food. With cool soda and water in bottles on the aspect, it had been a good refreshment. However, the juicy, delectable and meaty pork barbeque (manufactured from pork slices marinated in a sweet BBQ sauce and skewered on bamboo sticks) which Cebu is well known for apart from roasted pig (lechon) produced people fully satisfied. An excellent price for an excellent food, indeed!
