Not exactly our go to restaurant for Japanese food but I was longing for some soup.Hubby and I shared a Katsudon and a Gomoku Ramen. I've had better Gomoku Ramen which had a thicker more flavorful broth. The shrimps didn't feel fresh. The flavor was ok, enough to satisfy my soup craving. The sauce of the Katsudon was good but the breading was so so. The pork pieces were hard to chew.I loved the pretty plates and bowls. The staff were pleasant and on their toes. Seating was a bit tight. Overall dining experience was ok but the food was not great enough for repeat visits.^this is a Pokestop and near a Gym

Very simple. I can't feel that it is a Japanese restaurant. There's no authenticity, at all. Very pricey. Tokyo-tokyo's ramen is better that what they have.

Eating at restaurants with deals is not something that we usually do. But now that we have a blog, could it be that we are bound to try these offers anyway? Oh well, we figured out that we just love eating and thankful for it. One day at SM City Taytay, we saw this promo from Rai Rai Ken that offers a Ramen deal just for P99 and it comes with a glass of iced tea. Immediately, like a magnet, we went ahead and ordered the Kantonmen which is ramen with seafood, veggies and egg. My wife added P25 for a bottomless iced tea for herself.

I can't tell what kind of japanese food you're looking for, but you cannot compare this to tokyo tokyo. Food is great and i haven't been disappointed in any of my trips here in this resto. And just today ate this simple looking dish but once you combine either fish, rice, salad altogether in your mouth it will create another taste that you'll surely like. I guess i got influenced by the anine "shokugeki no soma". 😊

While out on an errand with my daughter in SM City Taytay, we came across this branch of Rai Rai Ken.  We don’t normally come across Rai Rai Ken branches in our usual haunts and since I’m going through my ramen phase and my daughter is a tempura aficionado, we decided to have our dinner here.
