One more week before Magnum Manila closes (July 26) and I finally decided to try it out. It scores a 4.3 in website but I feel that these ratings come from their dessert rather than their main meals.Their dine-in area is seldom full because people mostly go for the P100 make your own Magnum outside with the lines growing longer at 2PM vs 12 PM because people start going for desserts.I would probably rate their non-dessert meals just a 3.5. We got:Chicken Poppers - crispy but felt like just chicken skin fried in oil with a sweet white sauceSpinach Canelloni - packed with spinach but a bit too creamy for my tastes maybe because of the three cheeseMagnum Bolognese - nothing spectacular, what you would expect of a typical spaghetti, and I did not taste the chocolate shavings in the descriptionCarbonara with Cocoa Dusted Bacon and Sous Vide Egg - I like how perfectly the egg was cooked that when you pop it, it makes the perfect sauce for the pasta, aside from that there was generous serving of bacon. Again, not able to taste any of the dusted cocoaFor desserts that’s definitely a 4+Cookie Dough Skillet - As good as it looks on picture, great great! A warm, brownie-like cookie dough with dollops of white and milk Belgian chocolate that just oozes out, served with 2 sticks of Magnum ice creamJardin (Make your own magnum #1) - one of the top make your own magnum creations made of milk chocolate coat, white chocolate drizzle, chopped pistachios, gold nuggets and raspberry (but they ran out and replaced this with almonds, yum!)Make your own magnum #2 - white chocolate coat, white chocolate drizzle, dried mangoes, choco balls and double speculoos cookiesWe were actually supposed to order other toppings but they had a lot out of stock like Grape Nerds, Raspberries and Yogurt Nibs.Their desserts are great! Although I personally suggest you eat your main course elsewhere then just come here for dessert or Make Your Own Magnum since their meals are just average. The server Louis was inviting us on their last day as celebrities were said to come (in case you guys would like to). Still I have a feeling they won't be gone for long...

So it's my third time around here and sadly this will be the last time because they'll be closing on July 26 ughhhh, this really makes me 😭😭😭 i will surely miss this place; this place is full of sweets. I hope they'll be back soon with more branch to open here in the Philippines.

Oh I can still remember how good my ice cream was... The toppings and the chocolate syrup... It was flavorsome.. But for the price, you can totally buy variety of toppings. Buy the magnum in any stores, since they just also tear it out from the sachets, you can even have as many dip as you want. If you're talking about practically with the magnum of course.

A friend treated us here for his birthday a few months back. The place had good food and good ambience. They had big servings. I would suggest ordering two different dishes then share. Or maybe share one dish and then fill up on dessert. For appetizers we had the onion rings and chicken poppers. I liked the chicken poppers because it had a spicy kick to it.The pastas were decent. The bolognese was good. The carbonara was a bit bland. The sun dried tomato pastas and pomodoro were better, smaller serving but bigger flavor. The spinach cannelloni was nakakaumay. The Wagyu Burger was dry and tough according to my friend. He did not like it, especially for the price. The cocoa rubbed roast chicken was a bit dry but still good. I think it stayed in the oven too long. It was more of a roast chicken with a tinge of cocoa. The pilaf was good too, heavy and filling. The chocolate milkshake was great. It was thick and the sweetness was just right. The glass had a chocolate ring around the mouth. Make sure to eat that up before it melts or else it will be messy. On to the main event... desserts! The cookie dough skillet was my favorite. It was warm and gooey. The dough had a bit of bitterness that complimented with the sweetness of the ice cream and chocolate. The death by chocolate was good. The brownie was too sweet for my taste. I had to drown it with ice cream every time I took a bite. The rainbow dream was my least favorite. The cake wasn't good. It was dry and tasteless. We had two of these since we ordered one and they served another as a complimentary birthday treat. If we had known, we would have ordered another dessert. We also had one more dessert. I checked the menu but I can't seem to find it. It was served as a dome of chocolate. The waiter would pour melted chocolate over it, melting the dome to reveal two magnum bars inside. It was a fun show to watch.Overall it was a good experience. Would I come back? Definitely.

Trying to beat the heat with class? Well, Magnum Manila is definitely the place to go. Located in SM Aura Taguig City. This ice cream surely satisfy your craving for sweets. With a variety of flavors and add ons, you can never really have it all. Plus you get to customize your own ice cream. Now that is dope! Check out this store. You will never regret spending time here.
