Good place with a hip setting, giving the place a hip, NYC watering hole vibe. We ordered the cauliflower appetizer (good but extremely oily), baked salmon (good taste but a little bit dry and tough, seemingly overcooked) and the grilled squid (tastes like the usual Filipino inihaw na pusit), among others. A bit on the pricey side given small portions. Didn’t try the oysters since it’s a general recommendation that one should only eat raw oysters that were farmed in countries with cold climates just to be safe from bacteria.

Don't waste your time.  Nothing great about the pricey food, and service is poor.   Went here yesterday for lunch - 4 of the 5 dishes we ordered were out.   They even ran out of beer....??!?!?!   The waiter reasons out that they had an event the previous night.  Duh... not my issue.   One of the dishes we ordered was pending for 30 minutes so we had to cancel.    30 minutes for a dish - and we were the only ones in the restaurant!Manager does not even bother to talk to us.   He sends us free dessert, probably thinking "that should do it".  I politely send it back telling the waitress "thank you, but we don't need it.  Just give us the check."

Good ambience, with prompt service and of course, good seafood cuisine. Kinda bit pricey for a seafood restaurant but it's understandable, because, it's a seafood and bar restaurant by Todd English. We tried Crab Head Gratin, which I highly recommend as a starter. Will definitely go back to this place!

Hook's ambiance is really cozy and relaxing. It's a nice place to chill with friends or have your date nights over wine and oysters. The place is relatively on the expensive end. I mean you can check their menu for price points and compare it to the serving portions. For example, they only give you 2pcs of prawn for their baked prawn dish. Also, the funniest thing, they serve a bottle of wine for php2500 that only cost php700 from s&r.Nonetheless, the service is on point. All our food came on time, nothinf was missing. The servers were very attentive.

We love Todd English at SM Aura and was expecting the same quality of food. Boy, we were wrong. Food was just disappointing. You would expect high quality food for its price but it was just wasn't worth it. The salmon sashimi and the mackarel just didnt taste fresh, it leaves that gnawing taste in your mouth. The grilled squid was just like a squid you would get from a Filipino resto. Baked oysters and mussels, normal. Grilled salmon, too small. Maybe the only thing I like was the couscous. Would not recommend this place nor will we ever come back
