We ordered dumplings, pizza roll, hot and sour soup, kuao pao(not in the photo)and hong ma rice. the place is spacious and i liked their lights since it is bright. I dont like the hot and sour soup maybe because it is not chinese style. their dumpling and pizza is so goooodd, you must order it. the kua pao and hongma rice also is good. when we went there their staff are few maybe they should add server.

First time in Uniku and it didn't disappoint. So here goes my review:Parking: They have limited parking space but the nearby shops are almost often empty so problem's solved.Ambience: The place was clean, inviting and brighter than the usual restaurants. The aircon temperature was just right, considering we visited during lunch time. I loved that there were Chinese customers since it gave me the assurance that food must be that good to be patronized by Chinese locals.Food: We ordered pork dumplings, spicy wanton, pork stew kuapao with muy chay and the braised pork rice. The spicy wanton came first, it was served on a bed of bean sprouts/togue and my, it was so fragrant! My boyfriend said it wasn't too spicy but "it.was.good." (That coming from a guy who has meticulous taste) The braised pork rice tasted just okay...my boyfriend teased that they got too lazy to cut up the egg and just propped it unto the bowl. The pork dumplings shall I say, tasted "clean" and paired perfectly with its sauce. I was in dumpling heaven! The pork stew kwapao with muy chay was just a delight. It had the perfect kwapao and pork ratio...I didn't feel like I was running out of meat. What I loved best was their house tea, and the teapot with the spout facing downward (which guaranteed no spilling, and less time before the tea gets cold)Overall, I'd visit this place again.

An okay place to get quick Taiwanese food at an affordable price. They also sell a few frozen items for take-out.Food was so-so (their specialty hongma is not as good as I expected it to be), but their rice, however, is very very delicious! Not much vegetable dishes for those who like greens than meat, though. Place was clean, air-conditioning could be improved, music was nice (Chinese pop music), and parking was limited (same for all restaurants in the area). Service was okay.

It’s a quaint Taiwanese restaurant in the long stretch of food places in Banawe. You won’t notice it right away because their facade is just small and it’s a bit separated already from the main restaurant area.As for the food, it’s decent Taiwanese food for its price. Their prices are not considered cheap, but they’re not too pricey as well considering how big their servings are. Their braised beef rice is okay. I think it would have been much better if the beef was a little bit softer. Their pumpkin cake is pretty good and goes well with the dip. Their spicy wonton is also quite good given that I’m a lover of spicy food. The spiciness level was enough for my liking. The braised pork rice was better than the beef. I find it more flavorful. But for both the beef and pork dishes we ordered, one feature that compensated for the overall taste was their rice. Whatever rice they used, it’s quite good. It was cooked right and the texture was perfect.I like also that they have a whole wall of freezers filled with ready to cook frozen items. They have various flavors of mantou that really looks good. Some of their menu items are also available frozen so you can just cook it or reheat it at home. All in all, the place did not have a wow factor for me, but at the same time it’s also a place that I’m okay to go back to in the future. I just hope that we won’t find a strand of hair again in our rice in our next visit. :)

NEVER AGAIN! Ordered 5kinds of items in their menu. Food taste isn't as impressive as I know of other existing restaurants who offer better with a friendlier price and friendlier ambience. The clincher was when the manager claimed I didn't pay my bill when in fact she didn't give me my change!!! I challenged them to review their cctv cameras. After a 10minutes wait, came my change without any apology for the bad experience the management created!
