Been here like 7-8 times already and i always order their vegetarian pasta! Cant get enough of it. Their wifi is actually fast in case you want to stay and study there. Will come back for more pastas!

Cute place, with its wall art and book nook. Air-conditioned, okay place to work if you're a student. But we weren't quite satisfied with their meals. It was pretty pricey for the quality. Chicken, chorizo & mushroom risotto was good. Disappointed with the Cheesesteak sandwich. Bread was stale and the meat was hard to chew. Applepie smoothie was good as well, but I'd prefer if the ice was crushed or blended more.

Coffee priced at 105 was not enough for a coffeeholic like me. I'd normally get two cups but I needed at least 3 cups here. The pastries were delicious. The place is good specially upstairs where the designs in the walls were awesome. They have a great collection of books too.

Maginhawa street is just one of those places that does not quit. There's always a new resto or cafe opening or a new lot being set up as a food park or a new building being constructed. Crazy busy place. But I have a handful of places I go to where I'm most comfortable. No one bothers me nor looks at me and wonder why I'm alone. Sweet Spot is one. People here just go on their ways, are quiet, and are oblivious to the world. Students come here to review. Work people come here for a bit of catching up while I come here for a cup of Flat White before I go pick up my daughter from school. Sometimes we have lunch and order the same things: flat white, truffle mushroom soup, crisped beef shortribs and the southwestern chicken. All seem to satisfy my kid and I. The cakes are a hit and miss for me. The only thing I did like was the blueberry cheesecake. The rest are misses.
