First thing I noticed is their matching plates, cup, and bowl. I thought it was heavy but it's actually light. The table also matches these! We ordered their Sichuan soup. Which is really spicy. My friend's tongue and lips are so red. 😂 Their noodles taste really good! Oyster omelette which looks like a pizza was good too. Not so strong flavors though with their food, which I actually am not fond of. Since I like foods with string flavors. Since I am a fan of red beans, so my bf ordered a red beans cooler for me. It was not sweet, so I am kind of disappointed (sweet tooth alert). Service was good, they changed our plates with new clean ones for the next meals without us telling them. No CR inside their restaurant. You need to go outside and up the escalator to access a CR.

Belated birthday dinner here, as recommended by BFF 2. We ordered the ff:Salt & Pepper Spare ribsYang chowDarwin's signature sauteed seafood & mushroomStewed Grouper with ginger in hot potEverything was very well cooked except for the spare ribs which we find a bit over cooked, but not enough to give them a poor rating. Crew were attentive & always smiling. Will definitely come back esp if they will reduce their prices. 😄

My uncle bought me here to Darwin Café and told me they serve authentic HK cuisines, so we decided to give it a try. Ordered some dim sum, wonton noodles and their famous hot pot rice. For me everything tasted ok, but nothing special about it at all. Also, not a fan of the hot pot rice since I you won’t get to enjoy the food that much due to the extreme heat the pot gives out. Putting this review under Teddy Man since they are now located inside it while their main restaurant is getting renovated.

Food really tastes authentic. We usually order their chicken feet which is very flavorful and you can notice the spices used are really good. One of the best wonton and beef noodle in Manila. The only drawback I notice is it is kind of pricey compared to Hap Chan which serves equally good noodles but not that pricey for 250 a bowl.

some foods are ok like Hakao and HK style Siopao. The rest are mediocre at best. The pictures are misleading and you will receive a bland looking product that resemples something we cook at home. The pasta porkchop? it seems like they used a low class brand of spaghetti... (you know the brownish colored sticky ones). Worst of all is the soda. It reminds me of chowking in taft before it was acquired by Jollibee. they add water to the soda rendering it tasteless and flat. dunno how much money they save on that. My advice... go to HapChan instead. 😛
