I ordered their Beef (or is it Keema) Chelo Kabab with Basmati Rice at their The Yard Xavierville branch. Though I expected it to taste like shawarma... Boy, was I wrong! It do tastes very Persian and the sauces are the ones that I love. I still haven't got to taste an authentic "kebab" until now, though. And I'll still prefer shawarma. Plus whole new experience!

Overall bad bland food. Sayang sa pera. The lassi is bad as well, hindi naghahalo yung yogurt sa tubig, not worth it. Nagkamali pa 'yung counter sa order ko instead of lassi binigay iced tea. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Hello everyone! January just ended and it’s now time to welcome the month of February. Yes, just like that, we are already in the second month of the year. We hope all of you had a good January and are all looking forward to an even better February. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing with you an EATSperience at an eatery in the Katipunan area of Quezon City. This EATSperience is about Halal Kabab Express located just across Ateneo de Manila University at Park 9 Alley. Halal Kabab Express specializes in Middle Eastern cuisine, so expect numerous dishes that feature grilled beef and chicken with Persian or Basmati Rice. We have been looking forward to dining at Halal Kabab Express because we were really starving that day. Also, we have heard great things about it from friends and it is also considered as one of the bestselling stalls at The Yard at Xavierville. Before we get all carried away, let’s begin our Halal Kabab Express EATSperience! Here it goes, enjoy!

4/5: I ordered the "KM4" - the beef and chicken kabab meal and mango lassi on the side. (I chose this because I couldn't really decide whether I wanted beef or chicken.) The food overall was good - it was very filling and the flavor was really good. The eating environment was kinda small, so only about 20 something people could eat in the air-conditioned area at a time. The mango lassi was really creamy, but the serving size is quite small - so I think getting iced tea would be better for the wallet. The price is okay - not too expensive, and not too cheap. The service is good - the food came rather quickly and the waitress refilled our sauces (without us even asking!) for free. Would definitely come back and eat here one day. 4/5 because while the overall experience was good, it didn't make a huge impact on me afterwards.

You're paying around 150 per meal, but you're getting a good serving out of it. Love eating there whenever I can. The place is small and a bit crowded, but te food there is great.
