The udon here is really delicious! I’m surprised why they only have average rating here in website. Maybe Filipinos have not yet acquired a taste for udon? Anyway, I had their Niku Fuki Udon (hot udon noodle soup with sliced beef) and their Yasai Kakiage and both are really very good. I would definitely come back here again.

Cleanliness, comfort and ambience: 4.0Price: 3.0Food 2.5Staff: 2.5We visited this place on a Friday at around 3pm where only about 3 tables were occupied at that time. We longed for a good soba - we are so used to this Japanese dish and had the privilege to eat at places cooked by Japanese chefs themselves in Singapore, New York, New Jersey and Japan. We are a family of 5 and we ordered the following:Ebi Ten Mori SobaKisu Ten Mori SobaNiku Tsuke SobaTori Tsuke SobaTeisyoku Set - Curry Don and Mori SobaStaff was courteous and we were seated at the back. The decors and ambience are nice and the seats comfy enough. Though there was some odd sight of wear and tear on the ceiling and water dripping down on a table (they should fix this).Price: They are oddly priced higher here considering this is the Philippines. Most Japanese food I encountered here are so far cheaper and the ones that are usually expensive have ingredients that are hard to source. Anyway, we still decided to eat here thinking they have a twist or a unique style that I don't know about - big mistake!Food: 2.5* SOBA: 1.0Since the star of this restaurant is supposedly SOBA - I kind of expected their soba to be the premium kind. Don't get me wrong, the soba was cooked perfectly. But for the price, I kinda expected a higher quality soba so not sure why a lot of people rated them as great here. Soba's are special because of buckwheat - the "healthy" grain which gives them their nice grey colour. However, Nadai's soba's has more flour in them than buckwheat. Now, this could be great for texture which would prevent them from being brittle or rough to the palate. But then again, you are eating soba for the health benefits first. And a higher buckwheat content is still good. And I can say that there's a lot less buckwheat on this and almost couldn't taste it. Not to mention the serving size is paltry. The dipping sauce (tsuyu) - this should complement the soba nicely. But, again was a letdown. While there is a lot - it is too watered down! * TEMPURA: 3.0The way the shrimp tempura was cooked was spot on perfect! It has the right crisp, texture, and colour. Why a lower score? The shrimp was not cleaned/deveined so the taste was a bit gritty.* NIKU TSUKE: 4.0Good ample serving of beef though tendon most parts tend which makes it hard to chew.* CURRY: 2.0I had my curry fix from this but nothing special - Taste like supermarket bought curry. With 3 small cubes of carrots, and.....no potatoes? (and apparently no meat!) And a small cup of rice. And this is already P100? Staff: 2.5Curry should be served with a spoon! Had difficulty finding a staff - they all vanished after serving the food. Conclusion: 2.5Unfortunately, their star of the show - SOBA is a complete letdown for the price for both quality and quantity. There are much better alternatives out there.

Ambiance was nice. Food was average. Affordable but quality and authenticity of dishes can be experienced with lesser known Japanese restos. Manager was reprimanding his staff in front of the customers while there were choices on the menu not available because ingredients were not on stock. Might be the poor performance is more on the management for this branch.
