The udon here is really delicious! I’m surprised why they only have average rating here in website. Maybe Filipinos have not yet acquired a taste for udon? Anyway, I had their Niku Fuki Udon (hot udon noodle soup with sliced beef) and their Yasai Kakiage and both are really very good. I would definitely come back here again.

Cleanliness, comfort and ambience: 4.0Price: 3.0Food 2.5Staff: 2.5We visited this place on a Friday at around 3pm where only about 3 tables were occupied at that time. We longed for a good soba - we are so used to this Japanese dish and had the privilege to eat at places cooked by Japanese chefs themselves in Singapore, New York, New Jersey and Japan. We are a family of 5 and we ordered the following:Ebi Ten Mori SobaKisu Ten Mori SobaNiku Tsuke SobaTori Tsuke SobaTeisyoku Set - Curry Don and Mori SobaStaff was courteous and we were seated at the back. The decors and ambience are nice and the seats comfy enough. Though there was some odd sight of wear and tear on the ceiling and water dripping down on a table (they should fix this).Price: They are oddly priced higher here considering this is the Philippines. Most Japanese food I encountered here are so far cheaper and the ones that are usually expensive have ingredients that are hard to source. Anyway, we still decided to eat here thinking they have a twist or a unique style that I don't know about - big mistake!Food: 2.5* SOBA: 1.0Since the star of this restaurant is supposedly SOBA - I kind of expected their soba to be the premium kind. Don't get me wrong, the soba was cooked perfectly. But for the price, I kinda expected a higher quality soba so not sure why a lot of people rated them as great here. Soba's are special because of buckwheat - the "healthy" grain which gives them their nice grey colour. However, Nadai's soba's has more flour in them than buckwheat. Now, this could be great for texture which would prevent them from being brittle or rough to the palate. But then again, you are eating soba for the health benefits first. And a higher buckwheat content is still good. And I can say that there's a lot less buckwheat on this and almost couldn't taste it. Not to mention the serving size is paltry. The dipping sauce (tsuyu) - this should complement the soba nicely. But, again was a letdown. While there is a lot - it is too watered down! * TEMPURA: 3.0The way the shrimp tempura was cooked was spot on perfect! It has the right crisp, texture, and colour. Why a lower score? The shrimp was not cleaned/deveined so the taste was a bit gritty.* NIKU TSUKE: 4.0Good ample serving of beef though tendon most parts tend which makes it hard to chew.* CURRY: 2.0I had my curry fix from this but nothing special - Taste like supermarket bought curry. With 3 small cubes of carrots, and.....no potatoes? (and apparently no meat!) And a small cup of rice. And this is already P100? Staff: 2.5Curry should be served with a spoon! Had difficulty finding a staff - they all vanished after serving the food. Conclusion: 2.5Unfortunately, their star of the show - SOBA is a complete letdown for the price for both quality and quantity.  There are much better alternatives out there.

Ambiance was nice. Food was average. Affordable but quality and authenticity of dishes can be experienced with lesser known Japanese restos. Manager was reprimanding his staff in front of the customers while there were choices on the menu not available because ingredients were not on stock. Might be the poor performance is more on the management for this branch.

The food is good but the servings are way to small. The place is quite hot and it’s so hard to get the attention of the servers, maybe because the place is divided into two and there is a cloth that divides them. Not too authentic i think but it’s worth the try!

My go-to place to have a good, filling meal that's easy on the pocket at SM Aura. Place : Quaint, simple and quiet. I've never been here wherein I had to compete for attention from the servers with other diners. The place is really simple, like a cookie cutter Japanese eatery. No frills, no distractions. Food : My last visit had the Kisu Ten Soba with Fish (cold soba noodles with tempura fried fish) and a mini bowl of Buta Bara Kimuchi Don (pork with rice -- carbs on carbs yesss). The cold noodles arrived appropriately cold and the dipping sauce accompanying had a clean but flavorful taste. The pork was good, not great, but with the meal I had, the nice non-oily fried fish plus the cold noodles it provided a nice flavor contrast.Still lots to try on the menu. Will be back for sure.

The audacity to ask for a 10% service charge with what could I say the worst customer service in a restaurant I have encountered in Metro Manila. You can hear employees singing and wirh earphones on.There's nothing good with the food. Never ever order that chicken karaage as you would find street fishballs less oily.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! There is a reason why there weren't people going to this place and it's not because it is beside Tim Ho Wan. Because it is not a good place to eat! 1. Aircon was dead and dripping. 2. Menu was in tatters just like the rest of the place. 3. Crew was untrained and nowhere to be found. 4. Food was dry and not cooked well. I hate to say it but this branch managed to f@$k up very basic stuff on their menu. How the heck do you go wrong with Gyudon??? I had eaten gyudon from their other branches and it was good! I don't usually ask anyone to fix anyone to food that has been served because that is just asking for the crew to mess with your food. But i had to ask the server why my gyudon was dry and she told me that i could put soysauce from the bottle! Seriously!? Come on! It's like they paper toweled the damned thing and served it on cold rice! No moisture left! You know when you order take out to eat at the office but you got stuck at meetings and just took food home, stick it inside the fridge and nuke it the following morning? That's how bad it was. The chicken gyudon atleast had some moisture underneath but the egg on top was as dry as a desert! Iced tea was like was just as bland, like the party has been going on for a couple of hours and it's just latak left. Croquettes were usually balm but it was like it came from the freezer and immediately deep fried. The outside was crispy which gave me hope but was later disappointed me when the center was like watery mashed potato. Do you guys just microwave your food coz that's the quality of food that was served. This is a branch I will not comeback to. If you have tasted their food from the highstreet or megamall branch. You will have the same reaction. It was good when the ordeal was over. The greatest thing was the breeze outside. Eat somewhere else just not here.

Nadai Fujisoba offers tasty soba and udon and tempura. It's one of my favorite go-to comfort food places. I always order the same thing - either the Hiyashi Niku Fuji Soba or the Aka Fuji Soba (soup based and spicy), plus the Ebi Ten.

We tried the rice bowl meal and my mom likes the salmon one I think? I tried the oyako one and i am not that satisfied with the taste. More like (di ko talaga nagustuhan) but my cousins liked the tempura one tho. And i loveeeeed the japanese rice. I only ate the half of it and tummy's already full lol

I greatly enjoyed the Karaage Soba (P280) grom Nadai Fujisoba, with its crispy fried chicken balls floating in a bowl of hot broth, soba noodles, leeks, and wakame seaweed. The hot broth is mild and the noodles are firm, with the chicken, leeks, and seaweed blending together for a satisfying and filling meal. What surprised me is also how good the Hiyashi Tanuki Soba (P230) tasted. It is made of soba noodles, wakame seaweed, leeks, and crispy tempura bits covered in tsuyu sauce and with a clump of wasabi on the side. The meal is tasty and the wasabi offers a spicy kick to the mild saltiness of the tsuyu sauce. I can now understand why cold noodles are normally eaten during the blazing Japanese summers, so this should be something Filipinos should also enjoy during the hot days.
