Everything about about the Pig and Whistle is great! Starting with the food. The ribs are just the best, fall off the bone, just the way i like them. And complimented with some good fries and slaw. Also had the pork chops and wings which were both very good also. My wife enjoy's sweet's and had the buy one get one Blueberry Cheesecake. She shared with a friend, but the one she ate disappeared fast. Service was top notch, always checking on us and making sure we were good. The owner who is a friend was present and made sure the customers were happy. If you like watching sports this is the place to be. Plenty of TV's and plenty of cold drinks to keep you refreshed throughout the night. Or of you want a nice dinner for 2 or get together for 20 or more they will make sure you have a great time. Last but not least they have the nicest and cleanest CR i've seen here. Overall nothing but a positive experience there.

RATED Have to say, it was pleasantly refreshing to find a smart little pub in the middle of Manila (Parañaque). Slightly set back from a busy boulevard, the entrance steps give little away until the door opens and you step inside. The decor reminds you of home, the welcome reminds you of home, the food reminds you of home, the sport on the tv reminds you of home, the only thing is that you are not at home!!! But you really do feel like you are! A warm and friendly welcome, attentive staff and a menu that is as enticing as it is exciting. I can recommend the Pig and Whistle as somewhere to put in your diary as a regular stopping point.

Since we came from our friend's mom's wake, we searched for a place to "pagpag". With the night being still young & traffic northbound to be a sure standstill, this sports grill was a perfect place to accomplish all of these.Ambiance-wise, since this place is 3 months old, they were still on "soft launch". I love their decor, especially the use of cut-out jeans for their couch chairs. Their jeans-themed bottle/glass cooler/holder is also cool too. Big TV screens are everywhere, just how you'd expect every sports bar to have so kudos to the owners who have great attention to detail. My friends ordered a bucket of beers (P350 for 6) while us girls got our own girly drink. I got a cranberry cocktail. Too bad they used gilbeys instead of vodka for this. I now have bad rashes from this btw. Ugh. Food selection is very limited and wee bit confusing (they have indian selections!). We settled for bar chow of French fries (P75) & cheese sticks (P295) french fries servings was small but at least it was the natural potato thick cut type. So pricing is just right. Cheese sticks however is overpriced for me.Since this is a sports bar, I can't really comment on the food as what's important here is the ambiance.

We loved the place for three special reasons:1. Ambiance- it's cozy and has energy and positive vibes. I love the interior design.2. Service - I like how the servers would look for us every now and then. They made sure our plates, food, drinks, etc., were clean. They were courteous and had shown exceptional customer service, amazing considering they have only been open a month or so. I hope they continue with this.3. Food - last and not the least, food. The food served to us were great & mouthwatering! As usual, our all-time favorite was there, Crispy Pata. It was served exactly how the photo shows it and we washed it down with a bucket of beers. Everything was cheap and yet fantastic value for money. So, for the verdict, I shall give them 4.5.
