I am totally surprised with this restaurant. I thought this is another "inuman place" along the stretch of Aguirre but i was wrong. This resto serves one of the best ribs in town. It is tender and juicy and from the first bite you know that they slow cooked the ribs to perfection. The bbq sauce is served separately. I am not really fond of bbq sauce but this one is a sure hit in my taste pallet. We ordered the full slab and they taste better than TGIF. Do not be deceived by the burnt/charred marks because it came from the dry rub and smoking process. I give a rating of 5 for their ribs.We also ordered the chicken wings but i was slightly disappointed by it. I give it a rating of 3.Overall the place and food is good. However it would be great if they add more variety to their menu

I was actually surprised with this restaurant. My boyfriend and his dad decided to eat here on a whim. We ordered the Tomato Basil Pasta, 6 pcs honey mustard wings, and 6 pcs buffalo wings. They were all delicious. One of the best tasting pastas I've tasted. The honey mustard wings was delicious. The buffalo wings were not too spicy but has a kick. There were no dips for the wings anymore but I think the wings don't need the dips. Will definitely go back for the ribs and their key lime pie. The price is just right for what they serve. The menu could do some redesigning.

The ribs are succulent, moist and tender. If you're fond of spicy stuff, add hot sauce to the default sauce and you're sure to have a good foodgasm. Ambience is bright and inviting. Menus were worn out and some entries were unavailable. Food takes some time to be served. Staff are approachable and quite competent.

Big Daddy Jay's ribs are awesome! No questions about it. But then there are people who wants variety. Good thing they offer "buffalo wings", but the seving size is quite disappointing. It says 6 pc order but in reality, it's just 3 pieces of wings cut into even smaller portions. I know this is what they are known for, but i hope they could also improve on this to add variety to their customers.

Just when I thought ribs couldn't get any better, I discover Big Daddy Jay's! Smoke ring, check! Uses rub, not marinated, check! Smoked low and slow, check! Ribs cut with balance of meat and fat, check! They serve Dr. Pepper. Cherry. They serve bourbon, not my particular brands, but still. They even serve Key Lime Pie! (Which I need to plan for since the ribs were pretty filling)If you live anywhere in Manila, you can't go wrong with these ribs. The sides were fairly priced and complemented the smokiness of the ribs. Food (Ribs and Sides) get a 5.0+ for me.But, no one's perfect and they say the biggest room is the room for improvement, right?Music inside the place didn't match the All-American food and drinks. Good old American Country music with a mix of Rock & Roll on a curated Playlist would do wonders for the place.I'm nitpicking here, but the logo and choice of typeface and overall marketing collaterals could be improved. Certainly doesn't do the ribs justice, that's for sure. Music + Vibe get a 3.5 for me.I highly recommend you try their ribs! Worth a trip to the South of Manila, that's for sure.
