My hubby and I went here because a friend recommended that it has great pastries. The time wasted looking for this place was worth it because the food was great. Their carrot cake is moist and the cream cheese icing is not over powering and it has walnuts! The roast beef sandwich and also their cordon bleu is also on point. However, the red velvet was a bit dry. The service is a bit slow and the place is a bit small. Nonetheless, I would love to come back and eat here again😉

The food was absolutely perfect! Must try ang roast beef burger nila. Tender ang beef tsaka malasa talaga. Gano dn naman ang cakes super sarap hindi nakakaumay at mura pa. 👍🏻

Its been a long time since i ate in this resto again. I craved for their roast beef. But their sinigang sa bayabas is a cut above the rest in the menu. This is a must order if you crave for a pinoy soup dish. The roast beef has never changed its savor and texture. All very good! The resto has improved in its ventilation so eating is comfortable and satisfying.

Our first time to eat here and it exceeded our expectations. Single order of roastbeef was very tasty but very small portioning of 1 big piece and 2 small pieces of meat. Oh well, you get what you pay for 165 bucks. The chicken wings on the other hand consists of 7pcs, very filling and cost friendly. Also ordered slice of yema cake and it was super yummy! Am just cutting down on sweets otherwise I can finish the whole cake! Service is pretty good. I just hope they'll provide brighter lights because it looks a bit dim in the resto.

Every once in a while I get an idea for a particular post that I can’t wait to write, and this is one of those! CAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!! Cream cheese FROOOOOOOOOSSSSSSTINGGGGG!! (For those who are getting tired of my sweets & desserts obsession, my apologies. Sometimes a little too much of it can sneak its way into the blog). Anyway, carrot cake is one of my favorite desserts — all those healthy carrots — it’s the perfect way to end a meal! Or begin a meal. Or have a meal…The Food Crawlers, previously named the ZomatitosxZomatitas, had our first ever crawl in Marikina. After months and months of planning & coordination, we finally did it! Quina Pastry Shop was our 4th stop for the day. After indulging on all meaty-goodness from the 3 restos, we wanted to pace our bellies and rest for coffee/tea and delectable pastries. It wasn't a bad call, really!I didn’t have high hopes for the Carrot Cake when I first saw it; I figured it’d be dry and hard or - even worse, soggy! It was none of those things. It was heavy, yes, but very moist and packed with yummy add-ins like walnuts, juicy raisins. The taste of the cake itself was great - and if I’m willing to enjoy a version of carrot cake without the icing, that’s saying something! It would easily have been a satisfying treat without the piles of cream cheese frosting swirled on the top, but the addition of that rich icing made it one of the best snacks I’ve had in the country! That swirl of frosting on all the sides? Not at all gritty. It’s smooth, unbelievably creamy, and still extremely thick. Whoever makes that frosting has a gift…a GIFT! The cake was filled with goodies, and it was moist and definitely had good flavors. Along with the Brownie Chocolate Cake and the classic Blueberry Cheesecake.Stepping into Quina Bakery in this town of hidden gems (San Roque), your senses will be overwhelmed with the sweet aromas of cakes as you browse the turn-of-the-century shop. A closer look will also unveil a display of freshly prepared, old-fashioned spreads. The aromas waft out to the street capturing the interest of customers heading in (or out) of the shop. Can't wait to come back for more!
