I tried their lengua and it’s one of the best. Their crispy pata and kare kare is also good. We were really satisfied. Value for money. Must try!

Lula’s House is located in a residential area. The space is a garage creatively converted to a restaurant. I tried their famous Kare-Kare (good for 1-2pax) which I must say tastes really good. You can really taste the peanuts mixed well with the sauce. The bagoong is especially made to compliment their own version of Kare-Kare. Their serving is really enough for the indicated ideal number of people to eat. I also tried their bagnet which I thought I won’t be able to eat because I’m wearing braces. But surprisingly, I was able to because the skin is crispy-soft and the meat is so tender and chewable for me. Their houseblended iced tea tastes really good because of the real hint of tea. Would definitely go back!

Kare-Kare has always been a fave of mine and so I have been dying to try Lula's. I loved their Kare-kare and you can feel the love and effort of the people behind the dish. There bagoong is also very good. The serving is ample. I think the use tripe and pata to be fair and improves the over all flavor of the dish. The kare-kare lover in me is satisfied.

Please read the full review from the link below. Thanks!Excerpt: The “Original Lula’s House of Kare-kare” tasted good. Kare-kare is a stew of thick peanut sauce and is accompanied by bagoong alamang (fermented shrimp paste). The meat and vegetables tasted really clean which is not so common with other kare-kares out there. The only issue we had was that the sauce was a little too runny and bland (even if we put bagoong). The bagnet (double or triple-fried pork belly) was so good. Like really good. We ordered another serving. The skin stuck to our teeth, which is a sign of a good bagnet (or crispy pata, or lechon kawali). The meat was juicy and not dry. It was a delicious dish. The bulalo (Pinoy beef marrow stew) was ok. The meat was soft and almost tasted like corned beef, and the broth was rich.Taste = 4/5Service = 4/5Place = 4/5Value = 4/5
