Price was okay, a bit high from my expectations but the food was delicious. Wide variety and choices than the menu curently posted here in website. I wish I was able to try their dessert. I'll come back if given the chance to pass by Manila again.

My friend recommended this place because of my love for hummus which is i am now recommending you.The place is fascinating. The interior and furniture feels like we were somewhere in the Middle East. That's why we thought that one room is the comfort room but a prayer room instead!Anyway, we ordered 3pcs sharwarma meal and Kheema combo meal. These are budget meals but have big servings. But better check the menu before going bc they give the menu with high price.Surely be back for hummus and other dish.

The old hole-in-the-wall outlet is gone, replaced by a condo in construction, and what remains is the fancied up branch across the street, where I am updating my review. After a beautiful function nearby with friends and copious amounts of drink last week, it seemed right to do a late night run in this treasure of the neighborhood. It’s open till 5 am and closes for six hours, reopening at 11. We ordered a tasty hummus, moutabal, as well as chicken and beef kebabs. All of it was good, if somewhat salty, and something of a change in flavours. I didn’t find the bread to be as good as it used to be. Nevertheless, we could attest to the place’s command of an appreciative audience, even in the middle of the night. After they tear down Harrison Plaza, which is happening in a few weeks or days, I expect the original die-hard fans to make their way back here for their classic shawarma. ***April 2013RATED 3.5 Shawarma Snack Center, in my opinion, is the shawarma place against which all others in Manila should be measured. I'd like to think that its eclectic location on R. Salas, right between Ermita and Malate, has helped preserve its unpretentious character. Ironically enough, the owners put up an overpriced wifi-ed "restaurant" right across the street. Eat like a local and stick to the small hole-in-the-wall outlet; service is actually better. Most kebab-shawarma restaurants have cheap cutlery and serve their food on melamine plates; so does this one. One doesn't come here for ambience, but we like sitting near the window to enjoy the outdoor grilling in action - pita bread puffing up alongside handsome skewers of meat and vegetables cooking over hot coals. Everything is good - from the shawarma, to the kebabs, to their moutabal and hummus, to their kibda, or ox brain. They also serve flavored yogurt drinks (lassi), but big orders go down well with an order of Coke.
