Big Bowl offers the best beef tomato rice in the Metro. I strongly recommend it to everyone to try out their beef tomato rice its very delicious. The downside is their service which is very slow but nonetheless it is still worth the wait.

I had a great time dining at this place. I conditioned myself to eat at a nearby resto, but unfortunately it was closed, so I opted to go here instead. I didn't had so much expectations because there were only a handful of blogs which features this place.Upon entering the resto, I noticed there were only a few customers inside, and all of them are ordering for take-out. I was the only diner inside so I understand if they turned the A/C on a low setting to save electricity. The place was generally clean. It was like a Resto/Office/Home kinda place. I ordered Beef Brisket Noodle, Sweet and Sour Pork Rice, and Siomai. I was glad their menu was so reasonably priced, and I was even more delighted when my orders arrived. The Noodles are good for 2. Its soup has its very beefy goodness, plus the huge chunks of meat were so tender and tasty. The SS Pork was delicius, and can be good for sharing too. Siomai was big, although the taste was just average. The Food Attendants were all very nice, and attentive. They made sure that everything was served fast. Overall, I realized that I found a gem that was unhyped and underrated. Its a place for those who wants value for their money, and not for those who prefers fine dining. Food quality and taste was superb. Although it was quite uncomfortable because the A/C was turned on a low setting; the price, taste, huge servings, and good service is something that I think worth coming back for.

We have been eating in Big Bowl (different location before) since we were in high school and I was sad when it closed down. We accidentally discovered that it just changed location and now we frequent the new branch. Love their rice meals, very filling yet so affordable. My fave would be the sliced pork rice and also the sliced beef noodles. Just do not have high expectations as to the cleanliness of the place, most especially the restroom area and you’ll be all good.
