Tender bobs, classic go to steak place. We were not happy with our recent experience at shangrila. The beef is not cooked according to our liking, the mussels is just okay, the lamb is really blah. Sayang pera. Its far from the tender bobs we used to go to.

Its our first time here and we loved the food and service. I just hope that the steak itself has a bit more taste (salt) for a person like us who doesn't like sauce and we wanted to eat it just like that. We had a bottle of Sauvignon and a Glass of Merlot (red wine) for drinks.

We had our lunch here last Saturday. The place is small and full of people that time. We were seated near the door but we’re transferred to much comfortable seat when it was vacated. We ordered Roast Beef belly and Country Fried chicken. My mother loved the roast beef belly, well so am I. It was so tender that it melts in your mouth. I will order this next time. Although I’m a chicken lover, there is nothing special with my order. A bit pricey though but you get what you have paid for.

We love tender bobs for their steaks. It's not that pricey but quality is good. They serve our food just within 5 to 10 mins. It's fast compared to other restaurants we usually dined in.During our visit, we ordered for Spinach Artichoke Dip, Nachos, Fish and fries, Wild mushroom soup, domestic rib eye steak, Basic Burger and the Angus Pot Roast. It was all good. I love the Angus Pot roast so much. 😍The only down side of our experience here is that the wild mushroom was not that hot. We don't even have to blow the soup to be able eat it. Maybe it would taste even better when it's served hot. 😉

I thought to visit Tender Bob’s in EDSA Shangri-La Plaza with my family, and here is a list of what we ate:Caesar Salad Solo (P249)Clam Chowder (P219)U.S. Beef Salpicao with Garlic Rice (P499)Meat Platter served with gravy (P1,499)Skewers Sampler served with Java rice (P1,299)Among the dishes served, the one that I enjoyed the most was the Salpicao. The meat was just the right amount of tender, and each bite exploded with its rich and tangy sauce. The overload of garlic taste in the sauce was a plus for a garlic lover like me. That said, I did not enjoy the other dishes that much. The Clam Chowder tastes more like a chicken ala king soup, with the clams not as fresh tasting as expected. Among the choices in the Meat Platter and the Skewers Sampler, the meat in general was wither tough or not as flavorful, even with gravy. That said, I am still thankful that the restaurant has an offer of free dessert for birthday celebrants, consisting of a banana crepe with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream on top, with the whole thing drizzled with chocolate sauce. The whole thing was refreshing and tasty, and is a welcome treat to cap off the meal.
