Horrible service and average food. I kept speaking to the manager because she understood the website rules wrong. She kept insisting that only 1 membership can be honored per pair. Thanks to the website help chat, this got fixed in 15 minutes that they called the restaurant and explained. All went well and she served our mediocre pizza which felt lacked toppings and used store-bought tomato sauce. The pasta was fair, better than the pizza but not enough to make us return. The worst part was that when our bill came, they did not follow the rules once again and charged us for the two highest items on the bill, when it should have been highest item price + equal value item free, and lower item value + lower item value free. we wont be back again and it’s not worth the stress!

Food is okay in terms of both taste and quality. However, i think the menu is very misleading. We ordered Carbonara “Puglise” and Tutto Carne Pizza. For the carbonara, fussili was used instead of puglise pasta but we were not informed beforehand. Also, the pancetta was not crispy at all despite what the menu says. The pizza is not “neopolitan style”. Its really unfortunate because the ovens are JY dressed up as a dome oven, very deceiving hehehe. I was happy with the food but please call it as it is!

I write this review about a year after I have dined at Woodfire. The 2 pizzas we had ordered, Tutto Carne and Quattro Formaggi were simply delicious. The Black Tagliatelle pasta was also yummy with a generous sprinkling of seafood. We were celebrating a special occasion when we dined and the restaurant served us a free serving of super yummy pannacotta. The seating area may be limited and the restaurant space is quite small but it gives this cozy, special feeling that you don't find in huge restaurants. :)@maniladiningdiary

Actual rating: 4.3This has to be one of Rockwell's hidden Italian restaurants that provide quality dishes with a chill vibe ambiance. We had the tutto carne pizza, quattro formaggi pizza, 21-layer lasagna, black tagliatelle, and pollo limone. The pizzas were thin crust and baked till crisp. Although, I'd say that the quattro formaggi was a little bit over. It was still great nonetheless. The quattro formaggi pizza tasted somewhat like a cheese biscuit due to its crisp with ricotta cheese served on top of the pizza to add to the moisture of the dish. The tutto carne was exactly what you would expect it to be, crunch slice of pizza with some tomato sauce and meat toppings and cheese. Nothing really new to say, but the blend of the flavors are great in the sense that it is not bland nor nakakaumay. Both pizzas are best eaten with their chili oil.The lasagna was cooked to perfection, especially the pasta. In terms of the sauce, it was a 50-50 distribution of ground meat and tomato sauce with little tomato bits. It has a kick of sourness with creamy sauce to balance the flavor. The black tagliatelle was also cooked perfectly. The seafood serving was quite generous and you can definitely taste the seafood-refreshing aroma along the sauce of the dish. The pollo limone was cooked well, juicy inside out. Best paired with the spinach creamy and cheesy sauce that came with it.Generally, all the dishes had nothing different in them, but they were all prepared perfectly in the best way they could.

Good Italian restaurant this side of Makati. Ordered two handmade fresh pasta dishes: cannelloni and vongole. Both didn't disappoint. 4/5 will recommend to my friends, but wouldn't be my top-of-mind resto in Rockwell.
