I'm not a big fan of salads, but the Watami Salad made me a believer! Hope all salads are as tasty as this. Enjoyed the sukiyaki and the beef stone pot as well :)

Chasu Rice in hot stone pot: P195I’m not a huge fan of rice bowls so I have nothing to compare, but so far I enjoyed every bite. This dish is a mix of white rice, ginger slices, crab (I think) and mini chopped pieces of pork. At first I thought it was Sisig but nope, just regularly cooked pork.

Watami is owned by Bistro Group, the same people behind Italianni's. It's actually a franchised brand as it has several branches worldwide. It's a casual dining place serving Japanese cuisine. I would say that it's a great meeting place for get-together with friends due to its cozy ambiance. Service was good as the waiters were attentive. We ordered Watami Salad, Pepper Beef Rice in Stone Pot, Salmon and Flying Fish Roe Rice in Stone Pot. For our drinks, we had Passionfruit Green Tea and Passionfruit Mango Tea. Serving size was just enough for one person. We liked the rice meal in stone pot. I would say that it was similar to Sizzling Pepper Steak. Overall, this restaurant is just fine for me.
