There are several branches of Sis but this is my preferred location. The place is not busy and is much cleaner than their Pasay branch. It also helps a lot that the wet market section right across their place is owned by them. In my mind, that would more or less assure a better quality of meats and seafood that you ask them to provide (we very rarely do our own marketing in these paluto restaurants).

For years, this is our go to place in dampa. We usually order buttered shrimps, adobong pusit, inihaw na liempo and salmon sashimi. The paluto rates are affordable. The service crews are polite and prompt when serving. Recommended.

For viewers outside of the Philippines this is "Dampa" a food concept. There are complexes of restaurants attached to fish markets selling fresh produce. You buy seafood by weight and the restaurants cook it for you. They have a range of recipies to choose from. One of the pictures below is of Nona....my favourite crab lady...she carefully chooses the right one and has a brilliant 100% hit rate. The crabs are always exquisite. While there are a lot of similar restaurants all over the city...I'm extremely biased towards Sis because they can follow instructions to the T. The preparations are consistent and blissfully delicious. The best part about dampa...it's seafood and therefore healthy too and you literally can eat to bursting point and yet...you never end up as sluggish as a glutton. In my book, best dampa restaurant in town.

Suddenly craved for seafoods so we headed to the Daang Hari branch instead of the Macapagal joint we usually go to. The place is ok and not so crowded. We ordered oysters, steamed and served with vinegar and onions. We also got the delicious calamares and the piece de resistance : garlic chilli 🦀 crabs! The day is saved thanks to Sis!
