Price is right. Staff are great. Parking is not an issue. They just need to add more seafoods in the menu however they served variety of choices like meat.

While going on a road trip to Antipolo recently, we were surprised at the wide choice of restaurants, coffee shops, spas, etc. The first one that caught our attention was this, because it offers buffet at an affordable price. PLACE / AMBIANCE / LOCATION- Accessible as its along the main road - Circumferential Road. - It has enough parking space, which is important considering its located along the main road. - Spacious are that we're guessing can fit more than 50 people. - It can get quite packed. A few minutes after we arrived, customers started coming in and later on people were waiting to be seated!- They have a separate area which serves as a function room for special occasions. - Dining area is clean but wash room - not quite. STAFF / CUSTOMER SERVICE- Staff were nice but we noticed that there were only a few of them - perhaps the rest were in the function room as there was an ongoing function at the time we dined. - When we asked for the bill, the cashier just called us and handed the bill over to us from where she was (we were seated behind the counter). Not quite what we expected. It would have still been best if this was handed to us properly. - We feel like customer service is not one of their main concerns as we don't remember having been greeted when we arrived and thanked when we left. "Service with a smile" might make a difference.FOOD / SERVING SIZE / PRICE- Before we entered and having seen the price (P349), we figured there might just be very limited food choices. When we checked, we were surprised at the selection on the buffet table. - Very reasonably priced buffet with sufficient choices: seafood, salad, pasta, shabu-shabu, beef, pork, etc. - Food was really good. There was nothing from the day's line-up that we did not like. Everything was delicious. - As far as beverages are concerned, no vendo machine here so you need to put ice and pour soda straight from the bottle similar to how you would do it at home. - La Travieza follows a per plate policy where you will only be given another place once your currently plate is close to clean. We assume this is their way of discouraging people from getting more than what can be consumed. If this is their effort on minimizing food wastage, then salute!

I've been here for like 6 times. Hoping that the food would actually improve. But it didn't. Concept is great. Seafood buffet! Blue crabs, squid, cuttlefish, mussels and clams galore. But they prepared it all the same. The squid had a white cream sauce, their mixed seafood had it too or sometimes with an oyster sauce based sauce. Their shrimp was also similarly cooked with that white cream sauce as well. Their ingridients are there. Crabs, shrimps, shellfish, etc. It failed on how they cooked the dishes. If they made it simple. Say, steamed crabs, halabos na hipon, adobong pusit, tinolang tahong? It could have been way better. I'm not sure why they are fond of using evaporated milk and oyster sauce on their dishes. Did they make it too rich or too savory so customers would get easily lose their appetite? This is simply what we Filipinos call "nakakaumay".I'm still hoping that they could change their style of preparation. Again, ingridients are there already. Problem is how they cook the dishes.
