Chikaan KCC Mall Branch inside Zamboanga City offers great food at affordable costs, a good ambience, and reliable provider from their restaurant employees. I recommend that clients try the Sizzling Squid!

I had the chance to host a supper for ten and We chose Chika-an for the Cebu meals they offer. I wanted the Cebu flavours for my visitors to take pleasure from. Unfortunately, some meals fell lacking my expectation. Bam-i required several moreminutes to make. It appeared like it was prematurily . to be put into a platter also to be offered. The bell peppers, carrots and cabbage had been sliced thinly and had been too long compared to the regular veggie lengths. It lacked the punch of the bam-i flavor. The salted egg salad acquired plenty of diced cucumber, hardly any tomato bits and incredibly scarce salted egg ( if we were to produce a diner imagine the title of the dish, he could probably say it had been diced cucumber garnished with tomato bits and salted egg ). The baked scallops needed more baking period ( the kind where in fact the cheese and garlic had been nearly getting dry ). That could have produced the scallops actually tasty. Another dishes we got were served well, the grilled tangigue, the pork barbecue, the chorizo Cebu barbecue, the utan bisaya and the pinakbet with chicharrón covered up for the shortfall of the bam-i, the salted egg salad and the baked scallops.

the pricing is affordable but do not expect much for the product quality and quantity of the meals servings. the barbeque meats isn't tender n overcooked. dont purchase the bicol convey, as just tidbits of pork or poultry served with string coffee beans sliced in small parts.all the foods they served aren't fresh, it appears they precooked everything and simply reheat it. servings are usually small, also the rice is offered in small fifty percent scoop. for unli rice, u need to keep on contacting the waiter to refill it.

We regularly eat from Chikaan whenever we come in Zamboanga City. It really is among those restaurants offering what a lot of us respect as comfort food. Which includes grilled seafood and warm soup just just how we like them prepared. The assistance is goodand their employees are useful and attentive. This is not an inexpensive restaurant but is obviously affordable so that you can actually take your loved ones here more regularly than say the fancy restaurants around. The servings may also be generous and generally for sharing. In addition they serve halal meals so that it was okay with this Muslim colleague. They appear to have plenty of regulars in order that means they are usually a good restaurant.
