Our no-frills Sunday Chinese food delivery. We like their spring rolls, siomai and sharksfin. Passable white chicken and charsiu pork. Prices are reasonable, and servings are generous.

Perfect place to visit if your craving for Chinese Cuisine. I love their garlic chicken and spring rolls. They also have a good catering service. But the resto is not air conditioned and have a less parking space. Aside from that, everything is good. They also have a Take Out and Delivery Service.

Palmera is a combination of filipino chinese food. Also great for debut, wedding and baptism or any other reception. The place has parking on it's side , however if you are going to rent the place for reception and many people will attend, you might wanna find parking space somewhere else.Personal fave is siomai ( which is rated at 10 pesos each so some may find it overpriced) lechon kawali and wanton noodles. They also serve silog meals.Price is budget friendly if you compare their servings to others. So for me, the price is all worth it.Servers are iniative. Sometimes they will ask if you like extra sauce or offer what's the best from their menu.Highly recommended. 👍

After paying a solemn visit to my dad's grave at Taytay Memorial Garden (he passed away last December, and I still miss him a lot), we were looking to have some lunch around the area.Since it was my friend's first time in Taytay, I decided to take him to homegrown restaurants instead of dining at the usual fastfood joint. Sumakto dahil mag-cha-Chinese new year na rin, we decided to go to Palmera Dimsum House -- largely in part because I wanted to try some of their best sellers. I had passed this by a couple of times, but it was actually my first time to dine there. The restaurant evoked a lot of the old-school, Binondo atmosphere, but in fact it was established only about 10 years ago (according to its Facebook page). It was not airconditioned, so if you are looking for a literally "cool" place to eat, Palmera Dimsum House won't be it.But when it comes to delicious food, this restaurant has it!💠 Garlic Chicken (short order, ₱150) - big (but not plump, thankfully) chicken! Garlicky and buttery... It was served with a special sweet sauce. But there was no need for me to dip my chicken into the sauce as it was delicious on its own. Nice, crispy enough skin, chicken was well-cooked (no raw blood inside). The melted butter sauce was on the bottom of the plate. No wonder, it is one of Palmera's best sellers.💠 Siomai or dim sum - (4 pieces, ₱40) - very meaty siomai! I'm a sucker for siomai so I enjoyed this a lot.💠 Wanton soup (₱60) - big serving enough for two! You could taste the veggies in the soup. The "greeny"-ness of it.💠 Yangchow rice (₱60) - it was served kinda cold to me. But it was okay, as it was still edible! Haha. Could have been better if it were served hot off the pan.💠 Black gulaman (₱30) - Too sweet, so wait for the ice to melt for a while to tone down sweetness a bit.Service was fast too! Within five minutes all of our orders were served to our table.Palmera Dimsum House also provides catering services. It opens as early as 8 am so it's good time for some hot soup fix. Food is good and pocket-friendly.Garlic chicken was absolutely delicious. Will come back for that and try their other offerings.
