My friends and I were set to eat at the wholesome table but it was too full and we weren't amenable to wait. It was 9 p.m. already. I've heard was that this place serves good fish and chips. Though that may not be much of a driving factor for me to eat here, I was sure that there were enough options. The menu didn't look very extensive. Orders were: Assorted sausages - not the official title. It had four different kinds served on a chopping board with mustard on the side. Good enough but not impressive. Fish and chips - a wide fish battered enough for the right crisp outside and a little moist enough on the inside. Flavor was good, fries too. Agnolotti pasta - it felt contrived, or it felt lacking in flavor and presentation. This is why I felt I needed to order something else. I aimed for nachos but it wasn't available. Crispy pork belly for the lady who can't eat pork in front of her man. It seemed that the dish was true to its name and full of fat. Presentation was good though. Wolf and fox also offers beer cocktails - a sweeter form of beer and I tried The cunning fox that was a light beer with tequila and orange juice. It seemed to have some grenadine for good measure. I let the drink sit for a while to have the flavors mix but it didn't seem like it was going anywhere that I asked for a stirrer. Tasted a lot better after. There are too many restos in this area that it would be hard to go back to the same one right away. I'd think about going back to this pub in the meantime. Service was great with this one server I forgot his name. But the rest seemed bored and tired. Interiors were dark and foxy.

Welcome to my new favorite place: Wolf & Fox Gastropub. I've tried quite a few of their dishes and I fall in love at first bite over and over again. I reunited with my college thesis mates here for a late lunch/early dinner. We absolutely adore the interior! It shouts sophistication with a at-home feel. I don’t know why but it subtly gives me a Canadian vibe. Must try dishes:-Salmon Fish PIe-Salpicao-Foie Croquettes-Roast Chicken-All meat sandwiches

I was able to visit this book-themed gastropub called Wolf&Fox twice: at a food tasting event and as a nightcap with friends. For food, I have tried Bangers & Mash and Fish & Chips, both great bar chows with their drinks. For drinks, I have tried the Tequila Sunrise and The Cunning Fox. My friend has tried the Bananeweizen or banana beer.I would love to go back to try more drinks and food.

I loved their interiors! Though I came during the scare season, it was obviously decorated tastefully, eccentric yet tasteful! I also loved the outside where I sat to eat, there is peace and quiet especially if you are after a little me time to eat! I ordered their German Meatloaf and I found myself finishing it off up to the last bite! This place is awesome!!!!

Given the modern european menu and the very dark, sexy and intimate decor of its insides (a highlite being the art consisting of human portraits butof animal heads - brilliant !) , this gastropub was an instant attraction for me when it was first introduced to me by a friend who ate their with her companion. However it was a great many months before I finally had a chance to try it out this past weekend, March 21st, 2015.On this day,  my wife and i had lunch here.It was the first time I had set into the restaurant. Sure enough it was just amazing seeing the decor and intimate modern european environment as i had envisioned and saw from photos people have shared both on facebook and here on Zomatro. Unfortunately, we had a less than memorable experience. Our meals were from the Lunch Menu. I had the porkchop - which was stuffed with spinach, and came with a side of linguine. i ordered a side of cesar salad. the cesar salad was light on the greens and tasty. to drink, i had a green mango smoothie. This too was tasty and did not disappoint.  My own meal was delicious, but i have to admit that the porkchop meal was quite small. i was still hungry after i had eaten it and considered ordering something more from the lunch menu but alas decided not to;  unfortunately, I could not find anything that i would have been satisfied with. At the very least, the cesar salad could have been much larger. The greens were an amount no more than a small handful.  Though my first dining experience was mostly a pleasent one, i cannot say the same for my wife. She had the southern fried chicken with a mango smoothie. And though if i remember correctly that she was enjoying the smoothing, this  easily was compromised as my wife discovered that a portion of the meal was uncooked. we had told the waitress staff about it, she was apologetic and took it back. Instead of refrying it, the waitress came back shortly with a whole new portion - which wasn't entirely necessary provided that it was corrected but we both appreciated the gesture. Unfortunately, the new portion  was just as much uncooked as the first ! This is something we cannot understand. It was not like the restaurant was even terribly busy. There were only two other parties eating besides us, one of which had finished long before our lunch meals arrived. My wife had told the waitress and again she asked if she could replace it, but this time declined.  We continued to eat our meals and generally had an 'okay' experience. I am a little more forgiving, so I do intend to visit again in the near future as there seems to be a couple of great meals to select from for dinner. however my wife on the other hand,  most likely will not be in favor to try it again any time soon.

Went with a friend to check out the place. Went at 2pm and it was pretty full then. I guess the single malt scotches are priced moderately along with the pulutan; we had their UK chicken wings. I thought the beers could've been colder and the chicken wings were alright. Nothing to write home about. I can't say I'll have any reason to go back. To pay American prices for quick bites and a drink, I'll stick with doing that stateside. Only time I'd go if I were in the area is at Happy Hour which is from 5 to 8pm if I'm not mistaken.

I went here on Tuesday night, located at BGC. The ambiance is nice, we stayed on the 2nd floor, it's actually like private area where you can bring work since there are only few people. Maybe because it's a weekday?I ordered the mini burgers, i like the taste! I think the 4 mini burgers is good for 2 person but if you are really hungry you can finish it all. i also ordered meatball, it was just normal:) Nothing special:)For the price, it's quiet expensive but it is understandable since the location is at BGC:)

Is a cool joint if you just want a place to have a night cap and do not want to deal with the noise etc. The food is good unfortunately was not able to take photos as we devoured it. One of the few places that serve San Mig light on tap. Service is pretty good.

Sometimes, it's not all about the looks! Wolf and Fox was a random adventure me and a friend had. I don't know if it was just post-holiday laziness or they're really that bad. Anyways, onward to the review!Food: Unfortunately terrible. I ordered Grilled Salmon and it was super salty and the texture was unsatisfactory. I mean, who the hell goes wrong with Salmon? I ordered it because I personally thought it was one of those safe dishes, but nope, they failed in that department. My friend did order one of their specialty, the porkchop! Our opinion on that? Was that 50% breading  30% Fat and 20% Meat? Coz honestly, thats what we felt like while eating it.Service: Very attentive waitresses, but why oh why does rice = black noodles? The porkchop was supposed to come with that but because of logistical problems, they didn't have it at that time so she suggested rice. We expected the price to at least decrease because it should, right? It's just plain rice! But nope, same expensive price. It also seems they heard our rants because they kept on asking if we're good (of course we'll say we're ok, but honestly we weren't, sorry).Ambiance: Commendable, and a must see honestly. This is the only thing that's superb with this place. I mean, their plating is pretty but not that great but their ambiance is on point! Animals portrait as human beings?! Great concept and love the overall feel of the place. If you're going to just chill there for a while and enjoy the view, I invite you to do so. But if you're finding for a place good to eat, will not recommend this place at all. Totally not worth the money we spent.

Sitting outdoor would require mosquito repellent - as with any outdoor resto area in BGC. But the food is pretty good. Try the William Fox's fish pie and the Berkshire Pork. Drinks are reasonably priced for Fort which means alcohol portion is good. :)
