I've always wanted to check this place out & taste Chef Rob Pengson's creations (chef-owner of The Goose Station & Shine Bakery & Cafe). I was also looking for a resto with a romantic/cityscape vibe.THE PLACEVyne is located at 8th floor, W Global Center (entrance located at the back of P.F. Chang's) in BGC.They have a private room adjacent to the common dining area, with glass sliding doors, if you want to reserve a place for your barkada. I think it can fit 10-15 pax.APPETIZERCHILI & HUEVOS NACHOS[Nachos with chili, quail eggs, guacamole cream and salsa dip]The Nacho dip was so rich! I'm craving for it right now!PASTAKUNG PAO PASTA w/ CHAR SEW[Pork Char Sew, Kung Pao Sauce, Buckwheat Noodles, Roasted Peanuts, Cilantro Oil]A different take on Yellow Cab's Charlie Chan.MAIN COURSECHICKEN ROULADE[Parmesan Chicken Roulade, Mashed Potatoes, Mushroom Ragout, Chicken Jus]= 'Cordon Bleu'. Ok lang =)VYNE BURGER[200g All beef patty, foie gras, mushroom ragout, and bleu cheese w/c is best done 'Medium Rare']It was 'ok'. Foie gras (not a fan) but it was good.THE SALMON[Seared salmon fillet with pea puree, braised charred leek, and asparagus with a jamon serrano broth]This dish has the 'Wow factor!'. Maybe that's why it was named 'THE' Salmon because the presentation is pleasing to the eye as well as to the palate. Definitely made my visit to Vyne worth it.This is my 2nd 'Eureka!' moment as a website. Just like my 1st: Crisp on 28th's Salmon Sliders & Chipotle Chicken Quinoa, it feels comforting to find a dish made from different kinds of ingredients when mixed together will give you a taste like no other. Now that's culinary! Nothing on the plate will be left untouched. I suggest you dip the salmon in the pea puree and either add charred leek or asparagus and 'voila!'. This one's a real winner! Gaaaaaah!COMMENTWe ate late dinner at around 8:30pm-10pm and I'm not sure if the place really starts to get noisy by this time (it just so happen that a school batch reunion also took place that night which occupied ~3/4 of the dining area) and I somewhat felt bad for the couples dating because the crowd made it feel like a 'Bar' or maybe because Party hour starts at 10pm hence party people started coming in. So i suggest to dine or bring your dates to EARLY dinner (Vyne opens at 5pm).VERDICT1. Thumbs up for the romantic/cityscape feel of the place (except for the noise that we experienced that night, not sure if it happens all the time).2. Very accomodating & efficient staff.3. Cool graffiti walls.4. CHILI & HUEVOS NACHOS5. ...and my 'Eureka' food 'THE' SALMON!!!!10pm onwards, the place transforms into a Night Club where i prefer to stay Outside (less noise, less shouting).

Overrated. While the presentation of the dishes were good, the food didn't quite live up to the expectation (given the establishment's price and location). It lacked the complex flavor and the quality of texture that were reflected in the pictures posted online. Worst of all, the food wasn't even hot. It felt like the staff had just microwaved our food for 15 seconds.

I was really excited to go to Vyne because first, I bought vouchers from a popular online deals site meaning I would get to enjoy my order at a discounted price and second, I have heard too many nice feedback about this place. With my reservation, I gladly walked in and was captivated by the cool graffiti art on the bright walls which complement the wood interior all over the place. I reserved seats, of course, outdoors and the moment we stepped out, we knew this night ain’t going to be a boring one! There are bright colored lights beneath the couch that make the place so cozy and relaxing to the core. Add that romantic urban vibe while overlooking the entire city, then you have the perfect ambiance. What a chill Monday night! For a few bites, we ordered Sisig Empanadas (P250) with lime harissa dip and Breaded Aji Tamago (P200). The sisig empanadas tasted good with the lime dip but I think it would taste better if the crusts were crunchier. We liked the Tamago, the smoked salmon in it was really good, which somehow melted in the mouth along with the lumpfish caviar and chives. Of course, we would not let the night pass by without a good bottle of wine! We ordered red wine, Leyda Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon, from Chile (P1200). I personally prefer red wines from Chile because they never fail to satisfy me, from the overall texture to the bursting flavor yet calming feeling it gives. Vyne actually has an unlimited wine promo everyday from 5PM to 9PM for P750 but we did not choose to give in to this cool promo since we really just wanted to have one bottle. Since knowing this promo, we told ourselves we should be coming back soon. Well we did come back the next day with more friends, yes the next day! Our server Eric was happy to see us again haha! Unfortunately we were already 1 hour shy of the unlimited wine promo so instead we just ordered San Miguel Light and another bottle of red wine – this time we ordered the Tutti Frutti Arrogant Frog Merlot from France (P1000). This wine tasted bland, and we all wished we ordered our first choice, the Leyda Reserva! Our third time was the following week, which was supposedly just a chill one-bottle-of-wine kind of night but it turned out we ordered for 3 bottles the entire night, for the three of us! By the way, overall service is excellent!I am beyond happy to discover this amazingly cozy place on the rooftop of the W Global building where you can hangout with friends, dine, drink up, chill and laze around the cityscape. For me, Vyne is now the first choice when it comes to laidback but remarkable wine lounges in the metro!

We went here to chill and to see how city lights were. We ordered hoegaarden and calamares. I was quite disappointed because when the crew asked us whats our order, we asked him if they have crown beer and he said they have but we end up having 4 bottles of just hoegaarden instead of 2 bottles each. There is also a building going on beside the bar and it is a photobomber. I was kinda disappointed hahaha. They also have small sauce of calamares. Lol. The place is really nice. I love the city lights and i love how breezy the place is and the music. Perf! I rate this place 4.5 To sum up the experience.
