Healthy food locations are limited editions. People clamor for comfort food rather than dishes infused with fresh ingredients or chemical free. I’ve seen a lot of similar establishments struggle and even close for lack of patrons. Vibe Cafe seemed smarter by integrating a Yoga place in one area. That somehow attracts almost two different markets. I am hoping they do stay. The place has a nice ambiance and of course vibrant meals.

How I wished I could have met a Superhuman being yesterday at this event I went to. Nevertheless, I did meet a lot of people getting into the healthy vibe with superfoods. Ever since I knew about this kind of wholesome foods that were slowly being introduced into the Philippine market last 2012 after attending a media launch hosted by Sugar Leaf (Healthy Eats) along Sen. Gil Puyat Ave., I became hooked to the idea.

One thing I instantly noticed were the playful names of the food. The wordplay included food items such as Salmon Like You (Someone Like You), Zucch-Out (ZukOut) and Fish You Were Here (Wish You Were Here). Witty!When I started placing my orders, the staff was very helpful in making me decide which dish to try. Everything in the menu looked sumptuous. In the end, I decided to go for Sweet Dreams Are Made of Cheese Sandwich and Mush-a-boom Rice Bowl.It was a hearty experience after all.
