If any of you know the difference between UCC Mentore, Park Terrace, Vienna Cafe and Clockwork, please share. I would really like to know. Anyway, my website friends and I dropped by UCC Mentore at SM Aura after a less than satisfying dinner at Jin Joo. We needed our caffeine fix before the drive home, so I ordered my usual Kori Kohi. This coffee can be found in all the UCC branches I have tried so far, despite their different monickers. I always enjoy the experiment feels of this particular coffee. It comes with coffee cubes and you pour warm milk and sugar syrup over it. I like that you can adjust the milk and sugar to suit your taste preference. I also shared the strawberry cheesecake with another friend and I thought it was just okay. Among my friend's orders, I would recommend the affogato, though I think the Kori Kohi is already a good dessert substitute...😃Service was pretty good at this store... It's also very quiet during weekdays.

Personally one of my favorite spots. Great coffee, great environment for a chill day. Highly recommend the seats outdoors. The view may not be pretty but the comfort you get may surprise you.

Before covering a new restaurant in SM Aura, I took a pit stop here as I arrived early. Since UCC always provides a relaxing and top of the line service paired with comfort food and high quality beverages, it was a no brainer to pick this place. If you are looking for a quiet spot, this location is ideal too, as it is situated at the very end of one side of SM Aura. The Mentore’ brand is about combining the best of other UCC concepts in one roof. And here they also take coffee experience to another level. They have Syphon, Pour Over, French Press, Espresso and Water Drip varieties. On top of warm coffee, I got to have one of the many Japanese style American pasta creations. Their Smoked Salmon Linguine was unbelievably creamy and screaming with taste of the sea. Its portions were aplenty too, making it a must have dish when you get the chance to visit as well. I also had classic French Onion Soup and a delightful bowl of bright, nutrient filled Fruit Bowl with Yogurt and natural honey. The three dishes I got portrayed the vast choices Mentore’ offers. If you are looking for premium meal choices on an area that’s easy to love, this could be one of your favorite destinations.

I got to try UCC Mentore when I was invited to be a part of SM Aura's Art of Coffee tour for Food Bloggers. I love how they had different kinds of preparation for their coffee and they are aware of all the different profiles and can recommend to suit the customer's tastes. However, the food they decided to pair with the coffee somewhat threw me off. Nachos, by itself as a dish, is great. However, it definitely is not a complementary dish to pair with coffee as it has strong flavored ingredients like onions and peppers that can inhibit the enjoyment of coffee. I also think that the indoor area is quite small and can't accommodate the volume of guests that may dine in during peak hours and days. The al fresco area isn't really appealing since it only oversees the roads outside and you can inhale the smog. Overall, I think they still serve good coffee and food but the location is horrible, and they could also improve more on their food pairings.

Authentic third wave artisan coffee shops are hard to find they are not normally located n highlu commercial areas and for that we have UCC mentore, they serve personalized artisan coffee which comes at a certain cost but considering how good their beans and brewing is coffee afficionados certainly dont mind. I personally love BGC Mentore's panama geisha beans, brewed over vietnamese press, its full bodied flowery flavor minus the acidity amounts to a superb caffeine experience.
