I ate here previously and ordered gyudon. Probably the one of the worst I've tasted so far. Add to that the price was on the high side. For my 2nd visit today, our orders came in gradually (we were 11 in the group). It took 45mins to 1hour and the place was not full. It might be because it's a holiday but still if you're going to operate might as well be ready for the people coming in. Also, I ordered pork katsu curry but the server misheard and thought I ordered pork katsudon. I didn't want to wait further so I just accepted. It also was bad, too salty. Tempura (the resto) has better katsudon for a cheaper price. I'll try not to come here again unless I need to. The only plus side is they have free parking in front.

UCC's grilled cheese sandwich is perfect, and i could have this everyday. The brioche bread is flakey and moist, while the melted cheese has just the right saltiness to it.Giving them a 4 because the house coffee i got was a little too acidic and service couldve been better.

Another awesome food crawl with Abe C, Ruth D, Reich T and Mary Love S. The aim is to visit restaurants in Maginhawa area but our first stop was at UCC for their Tiramisu. We had this thing of finding out the best tiramisu in the Metro after our so-so experience at Salvatore and Cuomo. I have to say I enjoyed UCC's version! The mascarpone was done well and the lady fingers were moist with a mild kick of alcohol at the bottom. The cocoa/coffee flavor was enough for a four star experience. Abe said their tiramisu is already decent but its not something I will go back for. When it comes to dessert, I finally realized that tiramisu will not be on my priority list.

Very nice and quiet ambiance. We ordered their Chorizo Pasta and Chicken Katsu Curry. When they served me the curry, I was disappointed. It didn't look like the Japanese curry you usually see. Heck, it looked like it came out from the microwave oven. It was that bad... The Chicken Katsu was like karaage. The Chorizo pasta was decent enough.

Favorite coffee place of all time. Situated at the chic forbes town center, hanging out here is a great experience. During january its windy outside so a cup of espresso is good. We also had our fave dessert, the ube queso de bola. The rich flavor was extraordinary. Tried the kori kohi and its highly recommended.

I love UCC. It's a quiet cafe with good service, good food and even better coffee. This Burgos Circle branch (next to Max's) is my favorite. Despite being a Japanese franchise, our localized UCC serves excellent Filipino breakfast. My favorite used to be the naked longanisa but they discontinued that. I found a new favorite in the smoked milkfish (tinapa). It's an abundant mound of milkfish flakes, tomatoes, onions and salted egg. Hassle free as they're all mixed together for you (one con: it doesn't look very good in photos). They use a tasty rice variety also. I've always wanted to ask what they use. Top this off with a siphon Sumiyaki and you're all good to go.

It all started with a few reviews raving about this tiramisu from a  classy pizza restaurant. It sure made the rest of us curious and went to the said restaurant a few days after. And sadly, some of us went home disappointed as the tiramisu didn’t have the flavor or texture they were looking for. So what makes a tiramisu spectacular? Well, for one, it has to be chilled, soft and moist. The espresso and liquor should also not overpower the chocolate taste of the dessert. With these in mind, the looloo gang started a hunt for the best tiramisu. Our first stop: UCC.

Reasonable prices and good ambiance. You can definitely stay here for a long time working or facilitating meetings. Food and drinks are both good. :)

This UCC Cafe Terrace is much better than the UCC Park right at Burgos Circle. It may feel a bit more out of the be way with respect to the bulk of Burgos Circle restaurants but it's worth the added walk. The ambiance of this branch is definitely a lot more relaxing and service is worlds better than the branch down the street. Food remains consistent across the bulk of UCC branches which is a good thing.

I had a mango crepe and cafe latte while my friend ordered salmon carbonara. The crepe itself was quite dry and crusty, not what I was expecting at all but it was made pleasant by the mango ice cream inside (and there were two of them!) so it compensated somehow. It was just a bit too pricey for 250.----Had creamy chicken pesto pasta and it was such a let down. It was too bland and needed a lot of parmesan to taste better :(
