TWG in BGC High Street Central has a good and perfect spot! It offers enough space to cater guests. Like other TWG, it has the luxurious vibe inside the cafe. They have wide variety of tea for sale. I opted for Red African Tea because I still want to sleep and African teas have lesser theanine than other teasx

The piggery gifted me with a P2k gift check last Mother’s Day. They knew I wanted to try the resto for the longest time but nobody was inclined to give it a go with me huhu.Anyway, last Wednesday during the birthday of the man-of-the-house, hubby and I decided to have lunch here using the GC.TWG still have the 3course Father’s Day Menu so the love-of-my-life ordered that while I ordered the Matcha-seared salmon. The place was a joy to this perennial instagrammer. I almost forgot it was the husband’s day not mine and therefore should pay more attention to him haha. The burger although small was delicious. Imagine chunks of tender braised beef belly straddling the cheesy , juicy burger patty. You get the saccharine flavor from the braised beef balanced by the saltiness of the melted cheddar cheese. The brioche bun did not turn soggy and retained its texture amidst the meatiness of the two kinds of proteins it held between. This burger is pricey when ordered ala carte but together with a pot of tea, a cup of soup and dessert - it was value for money The Matcha Seared Salmon was a bit over cooked which was sad. Did not detect any hint of Matcha. The presentation was beautiful though and the contrasting colors of verdant green, orange and yellows were a sight to behold.Overall an enjoyable experience with the elegant cutlery and fine dining ambiance

I went here with my mom last March 25. We wanted some daughter mother bonding, and i've always wanted to take her here since the ambience is nice and i just love their tea. When we went here she was having headache so we asked the staff what is the best tea for headache and she recommended to have red tea, so we ended up ordering Eternal Summer Tea and my favorite Festive Night Tea which is made from cherry blossoms, my mom don't like the smell of flowers from her tea but she said she liked it. We had some Macarons and Mini Burgers. When we ordered Mini Burgers, the foie gras burger was not available so we ordered 2 Wagyu burgers and 1 spiced chicken instead, the burgers was delicious and we were very satisfied with the taste especially the spiced chicken burger it was to my likings

Being a tea lover, this place soothes my heart. What isn’t that soothing is prices. You see, in my country tea is dirt cheap and TWG ramps up their prices like there’s no tomorrow. However, given their poshy ambience and immense selection of teas this seems to be fairly balanced. I wish there were more true tea spots in Metro Manila, so I could go there to save ang aking pera.P.S. I’ve been here many times and almost always they’re out of chocolate croissants. No wonder, it’s good stuff.

Their meals have generous servings. Very clean place with good ambience. The waitresses are very polite and helpful. Their teas and macarons are awesome. Perfect as pasalubong or small random gifts to friends👍🏽👍🏽
