I thought they are just a coffee shop, but they are more than that.I absolutely enjoyed their rice meals!!! We also had the yema sansrival cake, which is great as well.

Seven of us office mates trooped here for an impromptu and casual "despidida".We all had ordered different rice meals - mine was the Callos - and shared a pitcher of dalandan-salabat juice. There was general agreement around the table that the food was delicious, but for me the best part was that this branch is not inundated with hungry customers on their lunch hour.I did have one quibble though, the Napoleones (Napoleon or Mille-Feuille) was not freshly made, so instead of the delightfully delicate layers of crispy, crumbly, and fluffy puff pastry and cream - a paradox only achieved by this glorious pastry - that I was looking forward to, I instead get - what one of my office mate's accurately noted as - "tinapay".

    • Taste: fine• Price: Fair• Ambience: Nice!• Customer Service: fine• Recommendable: deserves a second chance. When we decided to eat here because we find the ambiance better than any restau around venice at the upper floor. The are is cool and made a good impression with their room temperature. ( i love cool weather) The crew were very suggestive and appreciated their help as what food and drinks to choose from their varieties. My friend and i decided to have the pesto shrimp (pesto pasta like dish) and coco pork (bicol express like viand). The crew suggested to have the Barako Coffee with cocoa bits and mine had coffee peanut butter latte - see uploaded pictures for your reference. All tasted just fine. What is a good to try are their coffees as those are not really your typical coffee. I liked the barako with cocoa bits while the coffee latte was out tasted by the other coffee mentioned. Maybe because of the peanut butter which may not be described as delightful as we want like what we use to eat. Overall, i would give this restau a chance which i know it deserves as i heard they have mouth watering pastries and seen it with my own eyes yet once have a chance will try soon. Thanks Tsoko batirol for the experience!

Tsoko Nut Batirol is one of the newest restaurants at Mckinley Hill as of writing (June 2015). I work nearby and we frequently go here. We return here for its affordability. For drinks, I like their Traditional Chocolate so much. You can truly taste tablea in the drink. It's like one of those drinks that your grandma prepares in the province. The Barako Coffee also tastes good. It's strong and rich in flavor. However, one time, my friend ordered cafe latte and there was too much foam. She had to scoop out the excess foam and to her surprise, only 1/4 of the mug was filled with coffee. But good thing she told the waiter and it got replaced right away. They have several pastries. Among them, my favorite is the Wheat Cinnamon Bread. They also have cakes. My favorite is the Mangoes & Choco Cream Cake. Their cake servings are huge. Make sure you have a big room for dessert.I personally like their stone mug. The store name is engraved on it. I also like that they use mason jars for water and other beverages. They may be simple things but I kind of appreciate the uniqueness.

Definitely one of my new favorite desert places. I love their sinfully rich chocolate cake, heavenly revel bars and addicting cheesecake. Not to mention that the price is quite affordable and the deserts are worth it. I've been here almost everyday for the past 2 weeks. That's how much I like them right now. :)
