After a full morning of walking and grocery shopping, the wife and I decided to try splurging on some burgers from Triple-O's, hoping that their food would be worth the prices that they were charging. We're sorry to say that this was not the case. Our order consisted of: an Original with Cheese, a Monty Mushroom, two Loaded Fries, and a Chocolate Milkshake.Presentation-wise, I was very happy. Both burgers appeared as they were advertised, with no sad looking limp burger in a bun that looked like the victim of domestic abuse. The Loaded Fries were served in a plastic container with a cover for cleanliness purposes, and the milkshake was in a clear plastic cup to show itself off in all its sinful glory.Unfortunately the flavor wasn't quite up to snuff. Both burgers were cooked well, with no burnt edges, but we felt that the flavor was rather bland. The Milkshake was also likewise rather pedestrian. The strongest item in the menu would probably be the Loaded Fries, but even then we felt that they could have gone all out and used actual cheese curds rather than what looked like grated cheese. The service of the establishment was commendable, with the attending staff being cheerful and attentive, and the food arrived in a respectable amount of time.Overall, Triple-O's is a place for decent burgers but at overrated gourmet prices. We enjoyed the food enough, but still felt that we were overcharged.

Maybe Triple O's doesn't appeal to Filipino tastes because they are unaware of what a real hamburger tastes like. Of course, the Philippines is not known for top-notch burgers, unless people consider MacDonald's as their foundation.I was hesitant to try this place at SM Aura. The 4th floor food court is rife with horrible food, but Triple O's stands out among them all. In fact, it is the ONLY place I'll eat on the 4th floor. The burgers are cooked to perfection, the bread soft and not burned. You'll be hard pressed to find a more genuine hamburger in the Philippines, save of course for Burgers & Brewski's on Burgos Circle in Bonifacio Global City. The milkshakes are real, that is, unlike in the Philippines, they make their milkshakes with...wait for it...MILK! Yes, no ice, no water, folks. You've been duped into buying expensive water with flavoring all these years so now it is time to consume a real milkshake. The staff is excellent and friendly.

I am a milkshake lover. Always have been, always will be.This place has the BEST milkshakes I've had in the entire Philippines, hands down! The staff was very cheery when I walked up to the counter. I took a look at the menu and figured it would be another one of those mediocre spots that claimed they knew what they were doing I was about to opt for the vanilla milkshake when the staff politely suggested I give the Oreo milkshake a shot.To be honest with you, the thought of Oreo milkshakes made me wince a little. I imagined the taste of those icey, watered-down Cream-O tasting concoctions they have at McDonald's and Jollibee.I reluctantly agreed. I figured it'd be worth a shot. When I took my first sip, I was ready to say goodbye to my friends and family and leave this earth.I had found the BEST place for milkshakes EVER (even establishments like Johnny Rocket's and TGIF had nothing on this tiny stall). The milkshakes are made with actual ice cream (so don't expect a bland ice mix).DEDUCTIONS:1.) I sadly don't expect this place to fly with people who are "ballin' on a budget". It was a bit pricey. Worth it? Definitely.2.) I wish this place were more of a full-on establishment. The location of this counter was definitely not prime. I barely noticed it and would have never found this gem had it not been for my friend pointing out the milkshake sign. The place needs to be in a more strategic location. I wouldn't be surprised if it closed down due to lack of clientele- but I would be devastated.

The strawberry milkshake was really good but paying the same price compared to Starbucks I did not expect for it to be served that small. I felt the fries was just like any fries but it lacks salt.

TRIPLE-O’s is the burger joint spinoff of the White Spot Family Restaurant in Canada, with international branches in China, Hongkong, Singapore, and now finally in Manila. It’s named after its trademark “Triple-O” hamburger sauce (made of mayonnaise and hamburger relish). The name of the sauce itself came from the shorthand language used by the original order takers (known as carhops) to indicate the guests’ choice of extra mayo and/or relish. A Triple “O” on the order slip meant “plenty of everything”.Canada’s sauciest, juiciest, tastiest, bestest burgers around are now in Manila! The most famous White Spot menu item is their Legendary Hamburger. What makes the burger so world famous is the “secret” craveable sauce. Only a handful of people know the recipe for the secret Triple “O” sauce! Legend has it that the Triple”O” name came from the shorthand language of the carhops: guests could choose from mayonnaise and relish and the order slips were printed with three X’s and three O’s. An X meant hold, and O meant extra and Triple “O” meant plenty of everything. Today with more than 130 restaurants, guests can enjoy the great taste of Triple O’s by White Spot in Canada and Asia including China, Hong Kong, Singapore and now the Philippines!Triple O’s was derived from shorthand codes of the resto’s order takers way back when it first started. In their slips, X means hold and O means extra. Triple O’s mean extra everything on the burgers—the usual preference of those who frequent the burger joint.Burgers are obviously delicious creations of mankind, and whoever started making them deserves an award. Many crave for it and it’s obviously understandable since the combination of a warm bun with juicy meaty burger patty along fresh ingredients can be hard to resist. They serve mouth-watering burgers of different kinds. Their Original Burger (P200) is made of 100% Canadian beef topped with the famous Triple “O” sauce, crisp lettuce, and fresh tomato sandwiched on a warm bun with their signature dill pickle on top. Other burgers include The Original Burger with Cheese (P240), Bacon Cheddar (P300), Monty Mushroom (P310), Chicken Supreme (P190), Spicy Ultimate Crunch (P240), and Crispy Fish (P300). Besides burgers, they also serve Buttermilk Chicken (P125), 3 Cheese Pasta (P175), Fish & Chips (P300), Onion Rings, Fries, Salads, Sundaes, Milkshakes, and many more. Here’s what to expect from the newest burger player in town:White Spot owes its longevity in the food industry to Triple O’s burgers—liked, revered, and distinctly remembered by many a Canadians from different generations. Its most popular variants are the Bacon Cheddar Burger (P300 burger only; P390 combo) and the Monty Mushroom Burger (P310 burger only; P410 combo)—both massive enough to satiate a hungry man’s burger craving.Burgers at Triple O’s have a signature slice of dill pickle atopI sampled the Bacon Cheddar Burger and found the buns soft and sweet. Top crust cracked and its body deflated at a firm grip. The patty, reportedly made from 100% Canadian beef (chuck part), was thin but compact. “No extenders and no preservatives there,” he emphasized. Slightly burnt on the edges, the hickory bacon slices that came with the patty required a stronger chewing. The accompanying skin-on fries—thick and almost unadulterated—filled us up fast.Asked what sets their burgers apart from what’s available in the market, Warren was quick to answer: “It’s all about the quality and taste.” According to him, albeit Triple O’s is fast-casual, they only use top-notch ingredients in their burgers. They cook in Canola oil, a healthier and more expensive choice than the usual vegetable oil.And because almost all of Triple O’s marketing collateral praise their Triple “O” Top Secret Sauce, we devoted full five minutes in figuring it out. Contrary to what we expected (brown, runny, sticky), the sauce that warranted the resto’s name arrived as an unassuming peach-white dollop atop the cheddar slice in the burger. First dip had us guessing homemade mayo plus butter and red pickle mix. Second try had us saying “Thousand Island, but not quite.” It lacks tart so we finally hypothesized mayo + butter + sugar and cayenne or paprika for the tinge of pinkIf not in the mood for burgers, get their Dippin Chicken (P100 for 2 pieces)Triple O’s menu is based on the core menu in Canada but the Philippine franchisees are allowed to create and sell items that will cater to the local palate. The front liners of the first batch of featured items are Three Cheese Pasta (P165 ala carte; P265 combo) and Buttermilk Fried Chicken (P125 one piece; P175 two pieces).Three Cheese PastaThree Cheese Pasta with Dippin ChickenButtermilk Chicken Triple-O’s can be conveniently found at both SM Megamall, SM Au
