For a quick milk tea break, we headed to Tokyo bubble tea for some royal milk tea and bubbles. Tokyo bubble tea has a strong tea flavor and their bubbles are cooked al dente, there’s a bit of a bite. But a good to-go snack. It’s very affordable for 100 pesos.

Just like another regular milk tea, okay taste for me. Too sweet for my liking, not sure if I can adjust the sweetness level because the staff didn’t ask me. The pearls kinda too chewy and a bit hard, egg pudding is kinda hard too. Overall is just okay but not too bad. I ordered the mango bravo cake (they said its their best seller cake), waaaay too sweet but i love the white part (is that called meringue?) eventho it’s soooo sweet. They need to put more chopped mango inside. They also have a lot of selection of cake that you can choose.

Tried the royal milk tea with 50% sugar only. I really enjoyed it. It was the perfect amount of sweetness for me. I can't imagine how sickly sweet it would be if it's at the regular 100% sweetness. It has small pearls and large pearls, which was great for texture. The pearls were perfectly cooked. Something a bit odd was that they used small crushed ice. Since the straw is wide, every sip I took had bits of ice chips. It was weird at first, but it strangely grew on me and added to the texture.
