THE best hainanese chicken I've tried next to Stevie's. Good coffee, fair price, ok setting. Did I say you have to order their hainanese chicken?

I miss the days when I lived in Singapore. Especially the food like, Chicken rice, laksa, Fishball soup, etc. This place just brings back those memories.I visited Toast Box in Aura and the place itself, needs improvement. Interiors were simple and plain. I felt like I was in a food court type of feel. The dining area is exposed so it was really noisy. It's hard to dine here if you prefer quieter places to eat. For the service, it was okay. The staff were accommodating but not very attentive. The food was average. I tried their Chicken Rice, Seafood Laksa and Fishball Soup.Chicken rice 3/5 Big serving of rice and chicken. The rice was kind of oily and the chicken was a lacking ginger flavor. I love the trio of sauces. It really completes the whole meal. What's sad is that, when they served the chicken rice, it wasn't hot.Seafood Laksa 4/5The Laksa was good. The broth was nice creamy and rich. It also gave me kick in the throat because of the mild spice in the cream broth. There were generous amounts of noodles and fillings were mostly fish balls.Fishball Soup 3.5/5 This is one of the most simple dishes to order. What's nice about this is ,the broth. It looks simple and plain but it's flavorful. It's not the best but its okay.I like mixing the soup with some of the soy sauce from the chicken rice. Food here for me is normal. Nothing special about the food. I wish they can improve some of their dishes in the menu. I'll definitely come back if I have my Chicken Rice crave😋

I'm a sucker for laksa and when I crave for this, Toast Box comes top of mind. Lately I've been introduced to their Nasi Lemak and I'm quite enjoying it. My husband loves the chicken.

I always eat here when I don't want a fastfood-ish appetite or if their jam packed. Their Nasi Goreng is so close to the authentic one. Also their club sandwich, the bomb!

I like their interior even if it's small. but I don't find anything special about their food. The breads are just average and cold. I tried to eat in Toast Box in Singapore and I find them overpriced. I think the only good thing about this place is their Kaya Toast.

Toast box is me and my mom's go to place when we're craving for some coffee and bread in Aura. SB's always crowded. The ambiance is quite nice. You can see how the crew from BreadTalk make their bread. I always order either their Traditional Kaya Toast Set (P150) or the Milo Thick Toast Set (P165) just because, milo. Haha their coffee is rich and yummy. Their soft boiled eggs go perfectly with their bread toast. They also have rice meals too! The price is affordable which is a plus for me. Of course. Haha

..craved some Singaporean and #ToastBox did not disappoint. Though i wish they would have their Kaya back in stock, but the Hainanese Chix and Nasi Goreng (chix removed) was the bomb!

My first time visitng toast box was in HongKong and it was a really delicious experience. Toast box at sm aura also served the same delicious meals. We ordered blue berry cream cheese toast which was sweetly delish, and luncheon meat noodle, which was not really the beat on the menu but still good to eat. The drawback was that the waiter served us dirty soup bowls. We were supposed to share the noodles so they've given us extra soup bowls. At first, I thought it was stain but when I touched the yellowing inside of the bowl, it came off easily. So the bowls turned out to be dirty dishes. It was probably a mistake to serve us with those but still... Good food, but really bad sanitation and safety.

Singaporean fix for lunch. I got Nonya Laksa as it closely resembles the authentic Laksa I had in Singapore. Generous serving for one, topped with enough prawns, egg, tofu, and squid balls. Noodles were cooked to perfection making every sip a very enjoyable one. Laksa paste was blended with the right amount of spices. A little bit more of the Singaporean chili paste and this would have tasted really good. I also got their cold "Teh" or tea with condensed milk. Nothing really special about this drink. I just love to top off my main course with this drink. I believe Nonya Laksa is an acquired taste as some people doesn't like the spices that comes with it. It takes a while before you'd really like this dish.
