Totally Pissed Off. The short-haired cashier was very unprofessional, she was in a hurry (impatient) to take your order. I want my egg to be half-cooked or even less so i specifically told her that I want the one with runny yolk. Not her fault, though, but the cook's. I heard the cashier asked to make it half-cooked. It did not happen. I got an overcooked sunny side up, they should have just served me a scrambled one. With the cashier again, I still have 11php change but she said (impolitely and i just shugged it off), "dadalahin ko na lang sa table yun change", i was waiting for the eye contact while she was saying that but she'd rather look at the register as if the effing register was the customer. .Going back to my change which they did not deliver to my table. I had to follow up with a waiter about my change. I had finished my breakfast and all but my 11 peso was still pending. I went to the cashier to ask and saw that 11.00 was just waiting at the counter (all prepared). With an outburst, I asked her when do you plan to give me my change? I got the smug smile from this evil cashier before handing me my change.By the way, waited 26 minutes for that hard and chewy Tapa. It's ALL worth/worst it. #neveragainvery poor customer service and the serving of food is just languid.... I will never come back and I will never ever refer to anyone...

Typical silog meals at not-so-typical prices. Service was quite slow and inefficient. We had to ask for another person just to punch in the floss bread we ordered. For some reason, the breads and the meals were on two different cash registers. The breads are must-try though.

Breakfast is for Kaya Toast Spread and a strong cup of coffee. When you order this set meal, it comes with two loafs of bread with butter and coconut jam at the center. The bread itself is delicious, and in perfect harmony with the jam. It also comes with 2 pcs of soft boiled egg. How to eat the soft boiled egg in toastbox: Add a bit of salt, pepper, and soy sauce. This adds dimension to the already delicious egg. Toast box serves strong nanyang coffee. This branch is very accessible to my work so I find myself here every-time I crave for the delicious kaya toast spread.

Went here at breakfast time. Tried the luncheon meat noodles, laksa, peanut butter thick toast set, and floss thick toast set. i like that you have to pour in a little sauce (?) dunno what it's called but it's black and malasado egg and then dip the toast into it. so unique. The coffee looks like a hot chocolate but it was okay. it was creamy. I liked the tea more, though. will definitely come back to this place.

When a place you always pass by barely has customers every time, you start to get curious, to wonder and draw two conclusions in your head : either it's expensive or the food is bad. The curiosity got us through the door. It was just us from the time we went in until we finished and left the place. We asked the server what the bestsellers are, she said that the hainanese and the Peanut Toast are some of the top ones. Since I wasn't hungry, I got the peanut toast and my friend got the chicken. When the food arrived, I didn't know what to expect but I definitely didn't expect my peanut butter toast to be so literal and simple 😄 and for the price, I was expecting a pair of loaves. My 8 year old nephew could have done a better job :) The hainanese chicken was disappointing, that one would think this is not a Singaporean based shop. The only delight We got was the barley ice tea which tasted at first like a rice water with sugar, but as you sip your way through the bottom Of the glass, you get use to the taste, that you'd want to order another one. I think there is room for improvement. And I think the owners should try to be on the other side of the counter - be a diner or a customer ordering and eating your food for the price you are charging and you can see what needs to be done to make it more bankable otherwise, it'll be downhill from here on (if you're not there yet).

Average sandwiches, a little pricey. My default order is their cheapest sandwich - ham and cheese. It's about P10 cheaper than the packed sandwiches from Starbucks. It's fair and basic ham and cheese sandwich. Nothing to rave about, really. Haven't personally tried the other dishes though I don't think I'm coming back particularly just for that.

A visit to Toast Box is not complete without ordering their Hainanese Chicken meal. It's a very simple meal - chicken quarter steamed with some ginger, spring onions and salt. No drama at all. It's tender, tasty and healthy. I like the colorful sidings that go with it - chili, more ginger and some sweet soy based sauce. They add character to the simple meal.Laksa--When it was served, I was hesitant to eat it because of how lovely the dish looked like! Bright color of reddish-orange soup, topped with shrimps, boiled egg, tofu, bean sprouts, slices of squid balls and some greens. Even without tasting it, the spiciness it it was evident. The soup was rich in flavors with the strong kick of gata or coconut milk. It went really well with spicy broth, making the flavor a little milder and delicate. Then the glass noodles were cooked just right - not too soft and not too hard. The let down were the pieces of shrimps. When served, they looked so plump and all. But when you take a bite, what you thought were three pieces of medium sized shrimps were actually just halves so you're just getting 1 1/2 😱

Cute place, the ambiance is very light and airy. I ordered a light ham sandwich and a glass of cold iced tea. I enjoyed it while looking out the window and enjoying the scenery outside.
