My favorite pub in BGC. Their old fashioned is very fruity but still nice. The ambiance is what makes it for me. It's cozy i with just enough noise and quiet. ❤️

The Bowery is commonly known as a pub/bar for those who wants to just chill and hang-out within the busy streets of BGC. The ambiance is chill. It's paired with a cool yet groovy/funky background music inside. The wooden interiors and overall pub design gives me a New York-ish vibe. Chef Cuit Kaufman brought us several dishes with a twist which proves that The Bowery is not just a bar, but a restaurant serving best-tasting (and healthy) food as well.Spinach Corn Fritters (P250.00) - BTW, fritter is a fried food usually consisting of a portion of batter or breading which has been filled with bits of meat, seafood, fruit, vegetables or other ingredients. On this one, they used spinach/corn.It's like a savory donut, with cheddar cheese that's light and soft in the middle with a crunchy texture outside.Moe's Sweet Chile Beaner (P280.00) - a good starter. It was actually named after Chef Cuit's friend. It has arugula, spinach, roasted peppers, avocado, black beans, parmesan cheese with sweet chili vinaigrette and cilantro. It's like eating a salad with a spicy kick.General Tso's Chicken and Tofu (P390.00) - it was originally based on a Taiwanese (or Chinese?) dish but it was Americanized, and chef Cuit has elevated this dish a little bit. It has no MSG, no aritifical colors, it has a sweet and sour sauce, s ow peas, and spring onions. They serve it with brown rice instead of white rice (customers can request for white rice instead of the brown rice). For those on a diet, customers can choose ALL Tofu (lower price) or All Chicken (higher price) but it's mixed by default. They even offer a smaller size of it like a rice bowl.Pan Seared Salmon (P680.00) - instead of white rice, they use quinoa as a substitute (well, Quinoa is high in protein and fiber, and it's a part of the trend if you're looking for healthy options). The salmon is served medium rare by default (though tenderness can be requested). It has a light chili bade, chili mango slaw, and sliced avocado. Tasty but healthy!!Tuna Farfalle Puttanesca (P520.00) - fresh grilled tuna, fresh tomatoes, black olives, capers, red onions, parsley, parmesan cheese. It's slightly spicy and the puttanesca sauce is strong even if Farfalle pasta was used on this one. It's one of my favorites as well.Death by Chocolate (P360.00) - of all the desserts and chocolate cakes I tried, this one surely marked my taste buds. It has 7 layers of distinct chocolate components with Chocolate Creme Anglaise and Cocoa nibs. I can still remember the crunchy parts and the solid part of chocolate cream drifting my tongue. It was sweet and dark as well! It's one of my favorites.Grilled Strawberry Mango Shortcake (P280.00) - it was grilled to the point that there's a smokey goodness on this dessert. Strawberries and mangoes on this cake, who wouldn't like it? You should try it as well. Surprisingly complex as they say.Price range is high, but the overall experience you'll get while dining or chilling here is worth your money + some of the dishes were unique, tasty and healthy.

Food was delicious and filling. The atmosphere was rustic yet a bit too dark and cramp for my taste. They have a buy 1 take 1 promo during happy hour (5-8pm) and we got to sample their Cucumber Mojito which was just OK. For smokers, you’ll be happy to know that they have a balcony where you can also dine and drink al fresco. Service was good.

This place used to be a nice place but has changed a lot with apparently new staff that is incompetent and not very service minded. A great place if you are a smoker as many of the guests smoke both inside and outside despite the signs saying not to. The manager seemed more interested in watching the ladies rather than managing the business. A sad evening.

My friends and I arrived at 730pm on a Friday, peak dinner time, the place was full and they seemed understaffed. We seated ourselves and it took them a while to notice us and give us a menu. They kept getting our orders wrong (forgot to punch my friend's meal, we availed of the happy hour but waiter said it's not valid anymore when we really ordered before 8pm). I repeatedly presented my eatigo reservation code to the waiter, but he kept dismissing it by saying "wait lang po ma'am", which I understand because the place is full, but even after the many times I raised my concern, when we got the bill, my eatigo reservation was not honored. Because I really just wanted to leave, I didn't bother reminding them again of my reservation.Meals are crazy expensive for its kind. It's comfort food, yeah, but will also leave your wallet empty.
