Their food was not as good as we expected it to be based on the price they set it for. It is pretty much an unreasonable price to pay. The ramen noodles that we ordered has a similar to taste to a regular instant noodles while the tuna served for the donburi was the tail part rather than the belly (which is what we were expecting). Despite all of this, the service was really attentive and approachable.

Teriyaki Boy is a fast food restaurant that serves good japanese cuisine. I personally loved the salad that we've ordered. The salad dressing was the "icing on the cake." My tastebuds we're definitely uplifted by the ebi katsudon rice dish served to me. It's a good restaurant to eat as if you feel like eating in an authentic japanese restaurant. Service is fast and food price is definitely affordable.

Last time I tried Teriyaki Boy was years ago with Uni & Katsudon as my order. I tried, Aji Tamago, Gyoza & Philly Cheesesteak Roll & it's amazing!

Made to look like a fancy izakaya, the place has a charm of its own. The staff bowing in deference, the sliding panel doors, the scrolls of script hanging on one wall et cetera. I ate here on 2 occasions - one for lunch & one for dinner with drinks.Although not an expert on the cuisine, I have eaten in a fair share of Japanese restaurants in India & UAE, and somehow the flavours presented here would not make it to the top of my list.I tried a sampling of different items like the yasai itame, aji tamago, edamame, tamago sashimi, sushi and their mango dessert. The edamame really can't go wrong. The sashimi was just OK - didn't feel the cutting was nice. The grilled vegetarian bean sprout dish was really sad. The mango salad was chilled & tastes great. The tempura mango dessert was also awesome.Service is polite & billing is quick.

We came here right after we watch a movie in the BHS cinema. It's hot inside but the food is great. There are big portions and we left filled ❤

Despite the rains I opted to stop for dinner here since I was in the mood for Japanese food but didn't want to go out or my way. This branch is usually busy during lunch time but tonight it was just comfy.I ended up with a chicken Teriyaki donburi with a side of miso soup and the Philly cheese steak rolls and it made for a great meal. The miso was tasty but not as hot as I'd have liked, especially given the rainy weather. The rolls were consistent with what I expect from this franchise. At first I was a little worried that the chicken Teriyaki wasn't as cooked through as it seemed too light. But it tuned out to be perfect as the meat was tender but the skin had that nice crispness that comes with good technique. The Teriyaki sauce wasn't too overpowering but it had soaked through the rice, making it impossible to eat with chopsticks.Shout out to server Vin for being a great waiter. He was charming and patient with helping me with placing my order. And he funnily tried a last minute up sell for some takeout gyoza but it was done in a manner that felt natural.

kinda looks like TokyoTokyo na, even the taste too- quite similar, no joke. however, the portions sets em apart, the chicken teriyaki bowl’s serving is hefty and that jap rice was filling yet it’s sweet w/c i aint a fan of but the char on the skin was love! the chashu ramen was okay (sorry i couldnt help but compare to Mendokoro- out of its league id say). i did like the california roll w/c was freshly made on the spot and the mango kani jap mayo filling were sweet and creamy, the soy sauce was a tad salty, uh okay twas SALTEH. service id say was standard, our server forgotten or prolly did hear me ask for a fork and he preferred to chat w/ his colleagues more than be seroius w/ his front of the house assignment.

We have ordered maki and curry half. Its buy one take one. Idk if its a promo but, its affordable. The place is nice and cozy. The waitresses are so kind and polite. They made sure that food are placed perfectly. I also love the place. Its instagramable. Especially the neon light with “exit” and the cloths with japanese writing on the wall. All in all, exp was great

We ordered (SM Lipa branch):Beef curryPhilly cheese steak roolCrunchy kani rollCalifornia rollAsupara bacon makiMango tempura with vanilla ice creamCotton cheesecakeChicken wingsFriesI personally loved their Philly Cheesesteak Roll, basically all their rolls. Mango Tempura with ice cream was also good. I didn’t like the chicken at all. It wasn’t fresh and you know when a chicken isn’t fresh. The taste and smell of the meat is completely off. Their bacon wrapped asparagus is bad. The asparagus was so chewy and obviously not fresh. My mom also commented that their tea doesn’t taste anything. It literally is like water with a hint of green tea. Unfortunately, not all branches serve the same menu as per the staff. 3 of my initial orders were all not available.

I used to dine somewhat regularly at this branch, say once a month in 2018. However, my visit this evening would probably be the last. I haven't visited for some time and I'm rather appalled that the quality of food and service have both gone down.I generally prefer to be seated at one of the booths. As a regular, I don't really mind the cracked leather seats. Entering the restaurant, I found all three booths to be empty. It would have been a delight if the tables were clean. As it is, a lot of tables in the place showcased used tableware, including two of the booths. The last one, the corner booth, was piled high with backpacks and office supplies.I ordered Yasai Itame but was told that bean sprouts were not available. I also tried ordering Tempura Tuna Tartare but, after a quick check in the kitchen, I was informed that the tuna is of "bad quality". In all fairness, miffed as I was, I couldn't help but be amused at their boldness or their honesty... or both.I ended up ordering Miso Soup, Shoyu Tebasaki (new item), 3pcs. Ebi Tempura and Kani Salad. I also asked for a cup of hot tea... but received a cup of tepid barley tea. Not hot, not even warm, it was completely at room temperature. Obviously, the tea in the pot has gone cold... yet they still thought of serving it to a customer who asked for hot tea. Again, pretty bold of them. For Ebi Tempura, I got three shrimps that seem to have been caught during a famine. They're all so slim! And stunted! I know how large they're supposed to be; it's an item I have ordered several times in the past! I wished they had just also informed me that the shrimps, too, were of bad quality... well, bad size. Like small. Really small. A lot smaller than usual. So much for the food, now for the service. The wait staff was either unavailable or inattentive. In other words, there were two of them. The unavailable one was a lady who was frequently M.I.A. I'd give her the benefit of the doubt; she was often in the storage(?) area. The inattentive one was a guy who was predisposed to chatting with the kitchen staff... with his back to the customers.I would definitely understand if they were swamped or under-staffed but the place was not even half-full. Yet their service was barely adequate, their attention elsewhere and their tea tepid. Not even lukewarm. How could they have missed that?!?It is all rather sad. This was my go-to place when I'm looking for a decent-tasting, budget-friendly teriyaki... but now, I'm gonna have to search elsewhere.
