If you’re one of my followers on Instagram, you might have seen my pastel colored posts because I actually fancy this theme! Thus, I decided to check this colorful restaurant/cafe in BGC. Stacy’s. 1. Atmosphere ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. The place isn’t that spacious, however, you wouldn’t want to leave this place once you enter! Filled with pastel colored furniture and appliances, Stacy’s would sparkle the inner kid or girl in you. It is truly Instagram worthy from the entrance to the inside. Perfect for kids as well. Check out my Instagram for more photos, but here’s a wonderful snippet.

Affordable comfort food option in bgc! Recommended:- Texas barbecue ribs (P265): the meat was very tender my friend was able to eat the cartilage like bone in it!- layered sausage and potato pie (P235): layers of sausauge, potato, and cheese -- it tasted as good as it sounds! Their serving size is big and they serve the food fresh from the kitchen. the place is really lovely as well. They also give a free jar of popcorn and marshmallow as appetizer.Would definetely go back here. It can be a good Friday lunch out option.

The food is good but the serving of the ribs is too small. What I don’t like about it is we had to wait for 15-20 mins just for the 2 rice plates.

The place exudes a shiny, happy feeling. Bright yellow chrysanthemums (fresh, mind you) on clear glass jars adorned with a blue and white checkered bow decorate each table and equally adorable is the coaster on which this is placed.  A touch of the whimsical is evident by the white pompoms and different (cutely mismatched) adornments that pop out against the stark white of the walls. There was also a faux garden corner, with kiddie chairs and table where the little ones can play.    A mug of popcorn, marshmallows and pretzels (all in bright colored hues, in keeping with the overall theme of the place) is served while you wait for your orders to be served.  The hot drinks we ordered all had a cute sugar cookie with it.The Irish Beef and Taters was probably the happiest, sunniest plate of corned beef with eggs that I have ever seen. And the cup of rice in the shape of a heart! It was a good way to make the ordinary way, way special.  Per the menu description, it is 100% corned beef chunks and shreds lovingly kissed by malted beer and sauteed with white onion rings, served with two poached eggs. I liked the Stacy's take on the Eggs Benedict. But instead of English muffins, they used whole wheat pan de sal. And I have to say that the side of fries were not oily at all.  And it has a side of fresh fruits, a nice way to end the meal, with the tart wedge of orange, sweet watermelon and banana chunks under a light dollop of cream. The Monkey Toast are fluffy pieces of cinnamon toasts topped with sweet, caramelized bananas, whipped peanut butter and dark chocolate chips, per menu description.  In other words, it was the princess' ideal breakfast.  Another fitting name would be The Elvis. We just had to order another dessert and the unanimous pick was the Apple Pie Ala Mode.  It was a quick favorite, mostly the crumble on top.Incidentally, they have more area upstairs that could be a venue for birthday parties with a maximum guest list of about forty to fifty people.  I like how the morning sunlight filters through the window to provide natural light that is great for picture taking. All in all, a very colorful morning, great service, good food, cute ambience.  And they present the bill with Peter Butter Ball candies.  How sweet.
