My friend and I were looking out for a place to eat that we haven't been yet so we found this Sophie's Mom near our school and tried it out. The interior and the colors of their store was very warm. I loved it already not because I'm a fan of pink color. We stayed at the second floor and I was very impressed with their service. They just need to improve their chairs and aircon. About their food, we both ordered Tapa and one rainbow cupcake since it's their best seller. We also ordered orange juice to refresh ourselves and it tastes good! We were surprised with the presentation of their tapa because of its heart shaped rice. Their tapa tasted really good as well. As a tapa lover, they passed. About their Rainbow cupcake, I really didn't know what taste to expect so I was also surprised when I tasted it. It wasn't the sweet type cupcake that I usually eat. Their cream on top was delicious as well. You will really love it especially when you peel the cover of the cupcake to reveal the colorful layers of it.You all should go try it!

When you walk in, you definitely feel like you're in a legit, dainty bakery. The cupcakes are very light and springy..not dense and heavy. The icing is delicious - they clearly use real butter and they have a great icing-cupcake ratio. They have a good variety of flavours - the traditional vanilla, chocolate, buttercream and so on.This place is a definite must!

I can’t remember how I first learned about Sophie’s mom. I guess I read it somewhere on the internet or my friend told me about it. Lol. My friend actually lives infront of the restaurant haha mckinley garden villas 2. Anyway, Now why am I telling you this? Well it’s because the way they advertise their brand is amazing. The co-founder and managing director of this bakeshop is a famous fashion blogger named Sophie Ramos. She used the power of the internet and BOOM! Netizens learned and raved about it. Oh the internet.. Use it well and you can dominate the world! Or maybe not, but whatever! I I was glad that they opened a branch here in mckinley. We ordered seafood marinara pasta and beef stroganoff and two strawberry iced teas :)@

It's a cute pastry shop! Most of the decorations are in pastel colors, making the place very youthful and relaxing. It's a perfect place to hang out with friends or hold a special occasion.I also love the girly plates, cups, and utensils! Perhaps it's good to bring young girls and kids here. They'll enjoy the place.Aside from this McKinley branch, I've also tried Sophie's Mom in San Antonio Village and the taste of the cupcakes is pretty much the same. The frosting is too sweet for me. I'm not an expert in cupcakes so I can't say much on the texture, density, etc. But I can remember that my cupcake was expensive and I'm still wondering why a small cupcake has to be that expensive..

Have been a fan of Sophie's mom's red velvet cake when I bought some at Megamall and The Block before so when I needed my red velvet fix, I stopped by at their McKinley place and got some. The taste of the cupcakes were stale. I was pretty disappointed.

Their Dulce de Leche cupcake is a must-try! The caramel filling right in the middle of the moist chocolate cake was such a pleasant surprise the first time I tried it.

The ambiance is so girly because of its pinky motiff. However, I only ordered red velvet for take out so I didnt really stay that much. The cupcakes were gifts to some people dear to me and the feedback was really good. I would definitely go back to try it myself and some other cuppies for my sweet tooth ;)

The red velvet cupcakes I ordered here were a bit of a disappointment. The frosting tasted different it lacked that feeling of enjoyment in every bite.
