My best friend and I came here a little while before dinner time. It was a good thing we decided to come early because there was not much people yet. However, at almost an hour later, the whole restaurant was fully packed with people and there was an instance that a table has to be cleared and chairs has to be pulled out in order to accommodate another group of people, or should I say, a family who wish to eat here. I have observed that there were chairs lined up outside the restaurants as well. Thus, implying that there are always lots of people packed here to eat and are willing to wait outside for their turn.Serving time was quite long but the wait was totally worth it. We loved the food and we loved our stay here. Not only because the ambiance was good, enticing and appropriate, but also because the food was cleaned, prepared and presented well. Say for instance the clams that we ordered. Inspecting the insides of the clams by opening it, my friend has observed that the hair and the other black parts were removed. Thus, making it more enticing and safe to eat. It truly deserved to be awarded as one of the best restaurants.

My college buds and I had dessert here a couple of days ago. We weren't disappointed! We ordered several cakes and sampled eclairs. My personal favorite was the salted caramel eclair. Everyone in our group enjoyed the chocohazelnut cake. Good thing the slices were big enough for sharing! I'll definitely go back for more sweets. Yum!

The cake with banana cake covered with buttercream and chocolate. The buttercream makes the cake taste butter. But the cake is too overwhelmed by the cream. Too bug for it size I think. The service is really good though.

Had a chance to tried the Shine Bakery & Cafe at SM Aura Premier this Valentines Day. I ordered their tomato pasta, it taste good but its too oily. It also has a 2 pieces of garlic bread. And for the drink, I love the Chocolate shake with the art design of hearts. Love love. My bestfriend tried the Chicken rice meal and the Strawberry shake. The place was nice. Next time we will try their burgers and cakes.

This restaurant has pretty, inviting interior. The place has a nice ambiance especially with its relaxing lighting and pastel colored walls and chairs. We got to try their Chicken Adobo which was composed of 3 pieces of chicken, rice pilaf, and adobo sauce. The chicken itself was good and flavorful but it complemented well with the bland taste of the rice.Their Crispy Kare-kare was also an interesting version. The sauce was served separately. The beef was tender and flavorful. The vanilla milkshake was also good. It was not too sweet and had just the right creaminess.

They have really good food. We loved the umami fries, the fried chicken and the truffle pasta. We also ordered pork chops but find the marinate too tart and it did not help that they served it with some mustard dip.If you don't like crowds, then best to head on over to this resto.Just one thing, the staff should be more attentive. I had to call their attention since no one took me to a table and had to seat myself.

Have you ever felt so tired, dull and spent that all you want is some semblance of peace and quiet after a long day? Some people would go to church, a bookstore or maybe a spa. I went to Shine instead, and I was never the same.I ordered foie gras burger (medium rare!) for the entree and paired it with a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. As I bit into the first mouthful of the burger, all thoughts in my head seemed to have fled. I was only conscious of this divine cacophony of taste inside my mouth. Words failed to describe this experience. Yes, the burger was good-- but the word "good" would do this gastronomic masterpiece an injustice, and "great" is nowhere near enough to describe this overwhelming symphony that my senses were treated to by whomever prepared my burger.Funny how I never would have been rhapsodizing about a burger like this before. Maybe I was just really hungry, or maybe it had been a while since I last had foie gras. As for Shine's panna cotta, what can I say but that I'd never go back to store-bought greek yogurt again?I still can't find the right words to describe this first encounter with Shine. But do you see the photo of the orange juice in this review? That's how I feel one week after the experience. I'm still very, very happy.

Very accommodating chef. Asked my Mom what her diet is and prepared minestrone especially for her, it is not listed on the menu, a special order. Baby friendly cafe. #shinebakerycafe

I dined at Shine Bakery and Cafe in SM Aura with family a couple of weeks ago. From the outside, it's bright and airy with colors reminiscent of a candy store. The inside, which reflects the exterior, is really clean and the servers are uber-attentive.Shine's specialties are various desserts, but their menu also offers several savory dishes. From their entrees, we ordered Classic Cheeseburger Sliders, a regular-sized burger, fettuccine with black truffle and carbonara. Both burgers come with Angus beef, and both were seasoned and cooked very well. Big fan of the paper-thin potato chips and bourbon aioli dip. Also commendable was the deep-fried whole jalapeño on the regular burger, lending it a nice kick. The pasta dishes were cooked al dente. The carbonara was OK, but my favorite part was the thinly sliced pieces of bacon, which stayed crispy. The black truffle fettuccine was positively rich and savory. An ongoing promo got us a couple of chili cheese dogs for free too. I like the hotdog and the cheese and jalapeño toppings. The only thing I didn't like was the beans, but only because I've never liked the bread-and-beans combo.Prices are a bit steep, but understandable because of the portions and taste.

I really like Shine Bakery & Cafe at SM Aura. It has a cozy feel. My BFF Chet and I enjoyed our stay there. We had the Truffle Pasta one order is good for two and the Cupcake Sampler (300php) they served 5 cupcakes for us to try out. I loved the Rum cupcake and the Triple Salted Caramel Cupcake! The sampler is really worth the price. I would be coming back to try out their Eclair Sampler next and their interesring cakes.
