Bingsus have never failed me before and I am glad that eating at Seol & Bean has not broken that streak.I ordered their Matcha Green Tea Bingsu while my baby brother had their Mango Cheese Bingsu.I loved my order so much! I was a bit anxious about how I would react to the red beans in it since I am not particularly fond of anything bean-y, but surprisingly, it went really well with the matcha milk snow. My brother's order also tasted really good and I was glad he seemed happy while digging through his dessert. My only comment though is that there were some areas in the milk snow that were not yet fully crushed so they somehow stood out compared to the smooth texture of the rest of the dessert. Aside from that, everything was really delicious! Also, it is advisable to have even the regular size for sharing since it's really more than enough for one person to finish. For the place, it was really spacious and was quite cozy. The seats and the temperature inside were also very comfortable. For the service, you pay at the cashier so they charge no service fee.

So full from Brunch, we decided to have a light dessert. And with bright cute signs, here comes Seol & Bean to the rescue. Those bowls of shaved ice goodness just beckoned us. And we happily obliged. :) We got their best seller bingsu,  Injulmi, in single size. You'll must be thinking, "single size, really?" Oh yes really. Aside from the fact that we were so stuffed from brunch, all 7 of us could share that single serve. Even if it was just 3 of us, it would be good enough for sharing. Knowing that their sizes are big is a great thing. Anyway, off to the dessert! This flavour consist of rice cakes, soya powder, and slivered almonds. We all didn't know what to think of it at first, but it was so light and good! For us Filipinos, it makes you think of kakanin, so something familiar to our palette makes it easy for us to enjoy this lovely edible snowball. I can't wait to try the other flavours when I'm back here.

Paid Php260 for a large Injeolmi bingsu. Serving is good for 2. You have got to order and pay at the cashier and self service on the ice water. The texture of the bingsu is denser and tasted a little sweet. Presentation wise, 3/5. It is not piled up to the shape of a tall hill, it was rather flat,m. For the price paid, it is value for $. I will be back to try out their food.

We visited Seol & Bean multiple times because it's near our office. I got to try their different variations of Bingsu. I first tried Injulmi Bingsu. I read it's a sticky rice Bingsu. I didn't know what to expect but it's my least favorite. It's chewy and not that tasty. It's not what I'm willing to pay for. Melon Bingsu is a lot better but there's nothing much to expect with this Bingsu. Strawberry Bingsu is in the same ranking as the Melon Bingsu, for me. At the time, their Strawberry Bingsu is quite sour. I expected sweeter although it's okay. Mango Bingsu outranks the others. It's sweet, and has large chunks of the good stuff. It's really worth it's price. The place is okay-quite spacious. It's a nice place to bring your friends.

We always take time to eat at my favorite bingsu place so fat it opens up to 1 am , the ambiance is good playing Korean music but sometimes it is quite annoying when they played filipino heart break songs. Their bingsu is a must try for dessert!

This is my go-to place for Bingsu. They serve really good Bingsu. They are not stingy on the fruits. My favorite is their Strawberry Bingsu,It's overflowing with strawberries. Worth the price point.

Had my Bingsu staple, Matcha Greentea. Love that hey also put matcha powder and read bean in the middle and it was not purely ice only. The ice itself is flavored with milk, and topped with red bean, vanilla ice cream, almonds and 2 greentea bread sticks. The Mango Berry cheese was also good.

Tried Matcha bingsu. I will breakdown my comments into its components: Red bean: I must say there's generous amount of red bean and almonds! Red bean alone is sweet, as toppings and as a secret core of the bing-su.Matcha: they only use matcha powder. And it doesn't taste authentic! It is disappointing because my friend and I really love matcha. When we only tasted the green powder component, it did taste just like sugar. So for me, it seems like a green colored sugar and not matcha. No taste of matcha freshness. Sad.Ice: We did try a good matcha from other food spot and a good bing-su from another place. The ice is just fine. I have to be biased with our favorite bing-su place, Hobing, because Hobing use finer ice and yes, it's creamieeerrr! With Seol and Bean, I was trying to look for that milky creaminess from the ice alone. Good thing their matcha bing-su is served with vanilla ice cream on top, it gave a little more creaminess in the ice.Serving: i find the double or the large size order to be lesser than the serving from other bing-su places. Their single size order is too small, for the price. Place/interiors: pretty quiet place. Lighting is good even at night so you can take instagrammable photos of your food or just a snapshot with friends. There's this wallpaper ala frozen-like setting, which serves as a good background when you have your photos taken

First time to try Bingsu. I had high expectations and it was met when I got their Iljeolme. It is really true that their shaved ice was very fine and you can see the individual strand from how it was grind. They are generous with their almond toppings and milk. Their serving is big for a regular size as it is good for 2 but I enjoyed it all for myself. Definitely coming back to try other flavors.

Seol and Bean is just one of the chains where you can eat Korean food and bingsu in BGC.This is located in Fort Strip. It is the usual Korean place with K-Pop music playing in the background. They even have music videos of your fave Korean artists. And they've got wifi! With the food, they also offer Korean staples. We ordered Korean ramen (P170) and 6-pieces chicken with fries (P450). We're not expecting our orders to be big so we also ordered rice which costs P45 if memory serves us right. To our surprise, they have big servings! The ramyun bowl was huge, the chicken and fries was good for 4 people and the rice is also for sharing. The chicken we ordered got soy glaze so it's kinda sweet but it's crispy the way we like it. The ramyun, on the other hand, is normal, with very rare toppings. It's spiciness is just right though. We also tried kimbap and japchae and were not disappointed. We find this expensive because there's nothing special in their food, however, considering its location it is pretty much a reasonable Korean dine out.Visit www.eatventurers for more reviews.
