Bingsus have never failed me before and I am glad that eating at Seol & Bean has not broken that streak.I ordered their Matcha Green Tea Bingsu while my baby brother had their Mango Cheese Bingsu.I loved my order so much! I was a bit anxious about how I would react to the red beans in it since I am not particularly fond of anything bean-y, but surprisingly, it went really well with the matcha milk snow. My brother's order also tasted really good and I was glad he seemed happy while digging through his dessert. My only comment though is that there were some areas in the milk snow that were not yet fully crushed so they somehow stood out compared to the smooth texture of the rest of the dessert. Aside from that, everything was really delicious! Also, it is advisable to have even the regular size for sharing since it's really more than enough for one person to finish. For the place, it was really spacious and was quite cozy. The seats and the temperature inside were also very comfortable. For the service, you pay at the cashier so they charge no service fee.

So full from Brunch, we decided to have a light dessert. And with bright cute signs, here comes Seol & Bean to the rescue. Those bowls of shaved ice goodness just beckoned us. And we happily obliged. :) We got their best seller bingsu,  Injulmi, in single size. You'll must be thinking, "single size, really?" Oh yes really. Aside from the fact that we were so stuffed from brunch, all 7 of us could share that single serve. Even if it was just 3 of us, it would be good enough for sharing. Knowing that their sizes are big is a great thing. Anyway, off to the dessert! This flavour consist of rice cakes, soya powder, and slivered almonds. We all didn't know what to think of it at first, but it was so light and good! For us Filipinos, it makes you think of kakanin, so something familiar to our palette makes it easy for us to enjoy this lovely edible snowball. I can't wait to try the other flavours when I'm back here.

Paid Php260 for a large Injeolmi bingsu. Serving is good for 2. You have got to order and pay at the cashier and self service on the ice water. The texture of the bingsu is denser and tasted a little sweet. Presentation wise, 3/5. It is not piled up to the shape of a tall hill, it was rather flat,m. For the price paid, it is value for $. I will be back to try out their food.

We visited Seol & Bean multiple times because it's near our office. I got to try their different variations of Bingsu. I first tried Injulmi Bingsu. I read it's a sticky rice Bingsu. I didn't know what to expect but it's my least favorite. It's chewy and not that tasty. It's not what I'm willing to pay for. Melon Bingsu is a lot better but there's nothing much to expect with this Bingsu. Strawberry Bingsu is in the same ranking as the Melon Bingsu, for me. At the time, their Strawberry Bingsu is quite sour. I expected sweeter although it's okay. Mango Bingsu outranks the others. It's sweet, and has large chunks of the good stuff. It's really worth it's price. The place is okay-quite spacious. It's a nice place to bring your friends.

We always take time to eat at my favorite bingsu place so fat it opens up to 1 am , the ambiance is good playing Korean music but sometimes it is quite annoying when they played filipino heart break songs. Their bingsu is a must try for dessert!
