Revel at The Palace

Just got back from Revel, extreme annoyed. A group of my friends and I went into Revel tonight (on a Wednesday evening past 1), we bought a table for 8k which can be used as consumable on drinks and food. We purchased a bottle of alcohol for 4K with a couple plates of appetizers and coke. It totalled to a little over 5k. Fast forward to 1hr. We finished our food and bottle, a couple of us went next door to Valkyrie (which is under the same company, The Palace) for less than 10 min to check it out while the rest went into the dance floor at Revel, leaving our table empty for a short while. when we came back we ordered another bottle thinking we still had 3k consumable left. Upon leaving, our server then presented us with a 4K bill for the second bottle we ordered. I'd asked the server for the receipt knowing fully well we still had credit for our table. The receipt then had another bottle we never ordered on it. I'd asked the server what it was because we never ordered it. It was a bottle of alcohol none of us ever drank. Confused, I wanted to know what it was. The server said it was "bottle gift" looking even more confused I asked him what the heck a bottle gift was. I get no answer. To avoid any conflict my friends paid for the 4K extra they charged us. when I went to ask again what it was and if they charged us an extra bottle I wanted to atleast get the bottle to get what we paid for. The manager along with the server just laughed as if I couldn't comprehend the situation. I would have preferred a much more professional approach to solving this confusion. This is a well established and a "high end" night club, I think it should live up to its reputation. Scamming guests like this will get no business anywhere. Just hoping karma will get them. In theory. I think that the manager thought we were not coming back, knowing we still had a 3k credit for our table he then randomly charged us a random bottle of alcohol that totalled to the exact amount of credit we had to forfeit it. Overall, the place is nice, great sound system. If you wanna spend lavishly and feel boujee this is your place. However, I would pay extra careful to your bill as the server will add items in your bill without your knowledge. If you're in a big group. . Someone has to stay sober to double check your bill.

Drinks = 3/5: Alcohol tastes like alcohol everywhere I believe.Crowd = 5/5: So many good-looking people. Lots of foreigners. Dancing = 2/5: Not as fun as Valkyrie where people do not have inhibitions. At Revel, I feel like everyone is too self-conscious to go all-out. Maybe because the crowd is in their late 20s or early 30s.
