Rekado is a newly opened Filipino Cuisine restaurant. Located in the second floor of BGC Stopover, Taguig. I'm so happy with this restaurant! The ambiance was very clean, good staff service and its very affordable.

Kare-kareThe SWEETEST kare-kare you will ever taste. I was wondering why there was no bagoong, and apparently, they seasoned this dish to be a dessert.BinagoonganSalty. But the pork was cooked well. Just the right crunch.Gising-gisingSaltyKalderetaOk lang

Not the best Pinoy serving dish in town yet not also bad. I'm fond of Filipino dishes and seafood so we ordered 1 gising-gising (taste was so-so, not that spicy and crunchy), sizzling tuna (it was served on the sizzling plate but it doesn't sizzles. Kinda dry and not much sauce which could've added to the flavor of the tuna), tinolang tahong ( this dish - we loved..though the taste is not that strong) and a platter of steamed rice which serves 4-5 persons. By the way, we were only 2 and we were able to finish all of the rice and a little leftover of the tuna and gising gising. The thing that I also appreciate here is the ambiance of the place. The service was good but servers were not that much attentive unlike the other restos that has service charge. In conclusion, I would still like to try their other menu since they have quite a number and I cannot only give a feedback to the 3 dishes we had. I'm still coming back.

It was a holiday (December 30, 2016) and most establishments were closed. It was a toss-up between Chinese and Filipino. The native cuisine won. And so we tried Rekado. The PlaceThe restaurant is located at the 2nd floor of Bonifacio Stopover, near St. Luke's Hospital in BGC. It was spacious and had a modern feel. The StaffWe were seated immediately but our orders were taken a few minutes after. As it was a slow afternoon, the waiters seem to be taking their time as well. We had to catch their attention a few times just to refill our water glasses. The FoodWe ordered Chicharon Bulaklak, Munggo Guisado and Lechon Kawali. The chicharon and munggo tasted good. the lechon kawali seemed to lack salt. The PriceReasonably-priced given the serving, but they could still improve the taste, not to mention the customer experience. Considering they charge 10% for the service, they should ensure that they give their best every day.

Homestyle Filipino food with big portions and great taste. I ordered the tortang alimasag, and the monggo thinking it was for one, to my surprise the waiter went out with a pot of monggo and the torta was bigger than my face. This place is good for large groups as they are spacious. Bonus is the CR's quite nice and even has a bidet. Will be going back for sure.

Place is suitable for big groups, servings are not even if they say 3-4 persons is just good for 2 persons. The sinigang na bangus has 1 slice of bangus, sisig was good spicy though, longanisang talong tortawas also good but this is something that you can do at home nothing special. Service was on time and friendly.

In what could be the most underrated restaurant in all of Bonifacio Stopover...Rekado is the gold standard for Filipino food around the area. The Binagoongan is to die for, with servings good enough to feed your family and probably Ramsay Bolton's hounds. The Sisig platter is so filling and so savoury, Dany's dragons would probably hit that first before devouring a random farmer's sheep. The Salmon Sinigang is probaby Euron Greyjoy's favorite dish, owing to his affinity to the seas.So much more to try. Valar Morghulis!

I liked their pancit bihon special, crispy pata, and pork sisig. It is really delicious. I should commend their staffs, too. They brighten up our moods with their all smiles and very natural accommodation.

It was our first time here, we ordered sinigang na baboy, the soup wasn't sour at all, the meat was dry and tough, the radish was not cooked. Maybe will come back but won't order sinigang again.
