The Hungarian Spiral Sausage was juicy and I couldn't eat it all in one seating. Had to take it out. Later on my fiance and I ate it for dinner and she said it was really spicy. But good. We were both full and satisfied bec of the tingling sensation that it left in our mouths

Scored another coupon from Deal Grocer for this German Restaurant in The Fort, Prost Braumeister. I went here around lunch time and was entertained by their staff. I seated, looked over the restaurant and the menu. I hope they can put English translation or description of each food. I asked my waitress some items in their menu and she can’t explain it to me. :(The interiors of the restaurant was good, with high ceilings, long curtains and had the “antique-like” feeling. On to their food, since I have Php500 worth of their German offerings, I just had Nuernberger with Traditional Sauerkraut and potato salad (Php400) Although I wasn’t able to go to Germany to try the authentic ones, their sausages were just so-so for my palate. And I had the reaction within myself na “Eto lang yung Php400 na binayad ko?” I felt I didn’t get the value of what I paid for :(The potato salad lacks taste and isn’t served cold. A bit of salt won’t do any harm right? Good thing, the Sauerkraut blends well with the sausages (Oh Lord heavens, buti naman!) And what I just loved here were the half-cooked veggies; crispy in every bite.To cleanse my palate, I had their Lemonade (Php100) which was so refreshing! :)All in all, I can say I didn’t have a good dining experience here at Prost. :( I was expecting to taste good sausages but I guess my expectations were so high since they said they serve “authentic” ones. The food was too price-y for my pocket and I had the feeling of not getting the value for what I paid for. :(

Dated last year I visited this establishment dozen of times and experience a changing event and satisfaction in their lovely cocktails, food and service. Dated back on their soft openings I visited this pub to try their drinks from beer, wines and cocktails, tested even some cocktails that was not in the menu, and basically they can serve it in perfection and soothing taste, (love their bartender that time because of the creativity and being resourceful) not only the bartender but also the server (specially the one who always dance in MJ's songs). And every now and then I always visited them trying their Manhattan to Godfather to a simple scotch that serve in a very nice and very special way, their bartenders and servers that time knows how to serve it right (Prost for them). I didn't expect more to the food because its only a soft opening and they need a couple of months to improve it, the delays and presentation, but it came to worst every time I visited after their grand opening. The servers that I knew was not there anymore, maybe they finished already their contract. The service was not that good, feels like I'm just a bystander and no one was there to accompany me, the staff doesn't also know some of the item in the menu. Cocktails this days was not good, hope their bartender undergo much more training and knowledge about the liquor. Food was still always late, sometimes 10 mins-20 mins (was that really hard to prep it? What kind of Chef do they have?). do the Manager fix this kind of troubles on hand or just ignoring it?

We came to Prost Braumeister on a rainy Wednesday night. To our surprise, we were the only customers that time. So, that left the crew to attend to us well and on time.Orders came in less than ten minutes. Well, it felt like it. So that's great. Anyway, we all loved the Nurnberger! It was cooked well—tender and juicy but not oily.Flavorful, too. We also had a Bratwurst which I felt was not spiced enough, but still cooked well. The fries that came with the sausages were barbecue-flavored. We loved them! The flatbread we ordered was good, but I wouldn't recommend it to those fond of meaty pizzas. The creamy mushroom was excellent, but again, it's not recommended for those who'd love more meat. Go for sausages! They have a wide selection.Alcoholic beverages are reasonably priced for an establishment located at the Fort Strip. They have a promo for unlimited cocktails priced at 499. That would be great for a night of drinking with friends! Just because in really love beer and sausages, I'd certainly come back to Prost.
