Ping pong diplomacy is a Chinese fusion restaurant located inside SM Aura. It offers range of noodles and rice meals. We had their egg pie (P120) their sticky rice cake (P200) tofu and centru egg with cranberry (P250) pork boodles (P350) truffle dimsum (P150) and beef rice toppings (P250)I liked their noodles. Bursting with asian flavors. Their rice cakes are must try! Price here is a bit expensive thought considering their food serving size. But will definitely come back. Its worth it trying their food here.

Had a pretty late lunch here with my SO.We ordered: 1. Prawn Scotch eggs-my new favorite, covered in sesame seeds, egg yolk still runny, comes with a wasabi mayo2. Crunchy Eggplants-stayed crunchy even after an hour!3. Surf and Turf Noodles-tiny serving (two people could share if they ordered something else, but seasoned well4. Szechuan Pork Belly Burger-not that spectacular, not worth the price5. Ping Pong Iced Tea-very gingeryWould definitely go back.

Food is good but compared with the other Chinese restaurants, it’s average. We ordered (1) Chinese Steamed Egg and Foie Grass - according to my sister (I don’t eat liver), was sweet at first taste but when mixed, it became bitter, (2) Ping Pong Wings - typical Chinese- flavored fried chicken, reminds me of that Chinese fast food resto with super big chicken chops, (3) Surf and Turf Noodles - I didn’t enjoy, quite bland for me, (4) Orange Chicken Wanton - aka orange chicken dumpling, not your ordinary orange chicken and was the best out of what we ordered, (5) Yang Chow Rice - flavorful, (6) Fortune Balls - mochi, super good too! There were crunch bits that tasted like oats and the cold green sauce (we thought it was wasabi, it was not) complemented the mochi balls. The balls are like “malagkit” in our ginataan. Lastly, we had Rose Iced Tea that tasted like taho vanilla at first but it tasted very pretty, if you get what I mean. It was a good start- up restaurant in Aura, prices were a little too high for my food standar, but we had eatigo... so there.
